Hi i'm on the same boat regarding purity 2.0. I saw the new esp on tes5edit and noticed a few changes, seems more compatible with AOS but i'm no expert.
I'm wondering how people are playing with aos or true storms combined with purity without updated patch? Does it have critical bugs, or just slight incompatibilities?
In TES5Edit I opened up the new Purity with the old patch. Only entries to regional data and some weathers overwrites Purity's changes, but (and I am by no means an expert) it seems as though there isn't all that much which is foreign to the 1.9 patch. So I changed all of the non-sound data to Purity's in the patch. I'll post again if I encounter issues while playing.
I don't use True Storms though.
[Edit:] Since it's been almost 2 years and I stopped playing Oldrim, I can't definitively answer. I just took a quick look, however... Nothing will break. All the important bits are there, it's just weather chance values and a few other values that don't agree. Go ahead and use the patch as is, is my recommendation. Change the values to suit your fancy if you like, if not, the difference will be minor. Perhaps it was choice on the part of the author, to modify values a bit. There is one thing that's missing, a distinction between Storm rain and Overcast rain, added by AOS2 and not present in the patch. I would carry it over.
Hi pralinor! Thank you for patches. But i'd like to clear some things up. Author of True Storms clearly states to load TS after any weather mod. Here's his quote: "Make sure it loads AFTER the weather mod you've selected during install (i.e. load this after PureWeather)" But your mod description says that Purity needs to be loaded after TS, not before. So which description says the truth?
When you use my patch that does not matter. Let's say you will have minor differences in term of colours and such. So it is much more: do I prefer Purity taking the precedence over True Storms for details. considering Purity and its natural balance, i WOULD suggest that. but truly, it is details.
If you do not, the mod author simply state that: True Storm will take precedence over the weather mod, possibly removing some of it's features. Considering what True Storms is all about, this makes sense from the author point of view. Still, True Storms will alter Purity. And not in a good way. Same way as AOS will alter Purity and not in a good way.
BUT in case of AOS or TS, it makes senses for the author to say: nay wazzat Purity, put my mod after! XD
So have you determined if this is compatible or not? Sorry for the impatience, this is the last piece of my modding puzzle! haha, either way great work on this patch, it's awesome that you are keeping this up to date!

In any case I will do the necessary upgrade this week end...
Thank to warn me XD
So nothing to download right now.

Thanks a ton for this patch by the way !
Is this a merged patch between all 5 of these mods: Purity + AOS2 + TS + ESS + SoS?
... or it offers 2 patches, the first being Purity + AOS2 + SOS + ESS and the second being Purity + AOS2 + TS + ESS?
I appreciate the work and time you have put into these patches. Sorry for the trouble.
The base is purity and AOS2.
Then you can have:
Purity + AOS + ESS
Purity + AOS + TS
Purity + AOS + TS + ESS
SoS is added on top of that!
You have a patch for each of those, and the patch you install will provide a patch for for the whole.
- Purity
- AOS2
and whatever combination you use.
You do not need any compatibility patch with let's say AOS2 and ESS. All is done in my merged patch.
And also if there is some need to correct, I will do it.
