I found the images pending under my images tab, I've enabled them so they should be view-able now.

What I tried to do with the latest patch was make the helm/boots/gloves brighter so that they would show more detail and be on par with the coloring applied to the chest piece, but it seems that they still are a bit darker so I might have to make some adjustments to the chest then. Also are you using the beth HD pack for this? the chest resolution seems a bit low but that could just be me.

Edit: I've done some poking around and it looks like I neglected some darkness to the female version of the HD helm cloth, uploaded an update file that you an install over the normal VES to fix the cloth color. Thanks for pointing that out

    Hrm.

I'm trying to upload some images, but I'm running into problems. One, I've never uploaded anything to this site, and so I'm not entirely certain how. Second, when I tried (and I think I did it right), it told me that access was denied. Either way, I did manage to upload two images to my own account if not to this mod's images page. So you should probably be able to see them that way...probably.

I like the slightly shiny, slightly light look that it currently has, but would love a darker, richer cloth. Maybe a BIT darker metal too, but much darker cloth

Sounds good, I've noticed what you are talking about how the helm has a darker cloth and seems to match the armor fairly well, so I'll try to get the cloth on the chest pieces to be darker and hopefully match the helm's cloth.

Well, after looking over the new file...I don't see a difference. :/ Perhaps what I'm seeing is the result of something else? It seems like the helmet, boots, and gloves have a very matte finish when I select HD. I have screenshots if you'd like to see them, and can tell me how to get them to you.

That sounds about right, since I decided to make the non-chest pieces a bit brighter to match the chest from beth as well as to reduce the discoloration that the glow effects were experiencing, since several of them would turn out a bit darker than intended with the hd set.

Feel free to upload the screen shots here and I'll check them out, thanks for all the feedback

    Thanks for the reply!

After looking at my faithful follower Lydia in her full ebony in HD, here's my thoughts: I really like the metal on the (apparently default) chest armor, but I think the cloth should be more like the helm and gloves and boots. Maybe make those match the color of the chest's metal. Of course, if the chest were to be altered to match the other pieces, that'd also be good. But I like the slightly shiny, slightly light look that it currently has, but would love a darker, richer cloth. Maybe a BIT darker metal too, but much darker cloth.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure it'll look very nice indeed.

Now, of course, after writing this, I see edit 4...so I guess I'll just go check that out. Then, soon, I'll check out that dwarven armor in game. Screen shots look good, if not a bit washed out, but vanilla Skyrim always looks a bit washed out I think.

Hmmm... that sounds odd, I'll pull up skyrim after it updates (been a while since I've done much honestly) and poke around to see if i can get the same results that you are experiencing.
As for the dwarven mod when I put it up it got a lot of negative comments, not really feedback to even improve upon . I'll bring it back up since you sound interested in it, as well as put in a link in a few moments.

    Edit: here's the link http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25123

Edit 2: Turns out that this is caused by how I did the HD textures, or more lack there-of. I had the mod re-use the existing chest texture from the game, since that was the only ebony armor texture that beth updated with the HD dlc, and as such it does not match my version of HD textures. The only way to fix this is to make my own HD version of the chest to match the rest of the textures, sorry for the inconvenience. This may take some time depending on how quickly I remember what I did to get the HD effects for the rest of the set. I'll get started on this soon though so don't worry, things should be fixed in due time hopefully

Edit 3: On a side note, I'm wondering if you notice how dark the non-chest HD textures are, and if you would like them to be a bit lighter or not? Just something I noticed when comparing the textures.

Edit 4: Got it finished and uploaded

Absolutely beautiful work. However, I seem to be having a problem. For some reason, the helm and gloves (sometimes boots) aren't matching the body armor. Colors match, but they have a very flat, dark finish. I'm using the NMM, but it still seems to be happening. :/ By setting it to non-HD, it seems to work ok, but it doesn't look as good as the higher resolutions, of course.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and thanks for a great mod.

BTW...any progress on that Dwarven armor mod?

If uninstalling with nmm didn't work, go into your skyrim data folder and go to meshes/armor/ebony and remove the different mesh files in there, then go into the weapons folder and remove the ebony mesh files there, if you do have another ebony mesh moddifying mod installed on top of mine make sure to either reinstall it or to not delete it when you are removing my mod, hope this helps

How do you get the glows off? I put on a different armor and the red glow still is on?
