Bathing in Skyrim has been updated to version 1.11
From what I can read from the update notes, nothing has been changed that warrants a change to my mod as well.
However, I currently don't have a modded Skyrim installed, and won't have so for a long time. So, if you notice any incompatibilities between Bathing in Skyrim version 1.11 and my mod, please let me know or file a bug report.
This mod has been ported to SSE with support for Bathing in Skyrim and Keep it Clean. I will no longer maintain or support this LE version. I am leaving it up for those who still play regular Skyrim edition, however.
It would be possible, but the whole point of the soaps is to obtain them from the inns they are from, thus I won't make them craftable. You can just use console commands to spawn any number of them in your inventory.
I'm not sure yet. I have yet to even start modding SSE, no les sfigure out how to make mods for it. Really I'll probably wait for 2 things, the update for Bathing in Skyrim, which was supposed to come eventually, and the new mod manager that's being worked on. After this I might port this mod to SSE along with the rest of my mods, but as you can see, it's not going to be any time soon.
Hello, I'm using Ordinator which doesn't have the Merchant perk - I believe it has been replaced by Salesman - "Can sell any type of item to any kind of merchant." Will that work for purchasing the soaps or does it have to be vanilla Merchant?
I've no idea, as I don't use any perk overhauls. If Ordinator's perk ties in with the vanilla merchant perk system, I imagine it would work fine, if it does something completely new, it could be problematic.
I'd recommend you to make a backup save and try and install my mod, and simply test it yourself at one of the inns. If you don't have the perk yet, use console to level up and give it to you. If it doesn't work, my mod is 100 % safe to uninstall again as it contains nothing left behind on your savegame. You can even roll back to your backup save just to be perfectly safe.
Update: Due to the fantastic help from DrMonops, the Inn Soaps have now been fully integrated with Bathing in Skyrim. All features now work as they should, soaps disappear after use, unique effects added for each of the Inn soaps, depending on location and type. See changelog for full overview.

Wait! are you referring to bear fat with wood ash stirred into it? Nah, can't be... You're yanking my chain, right? RIGHT? I mean, once every year or two, maybe... but more?
You had me going there. You know, you're pretty funny, for a Wood Elf n' all. Oh wait, I gotta go kill that dragon with my teeth. We'll talk later.
Go wash, or be prepared for a reduction in your speechcraft and your disease resistance. Which is coincidentially what Bathing in Skyrim does if you neglect your hygiene. Quite realistic
I'm sorry to say, but my mod won't actually do anything about that issue =p
The thing is, soaps are 'misc' items, and innkeepers only sell you food items and ingredients, until you get the 'merchant' perk. That is why you won't see any soaps from Bathing in Skyrim for sale until you get that perk, and unfortunately it works that way for my soaps as well.
I have not yet found any workaround for that, as it is not an option making the soaps food items or ingredients.
Might be possible to add a keyword to the soaps or something like that, but that is something I will have to tinker with later.
For now, these soaps require the 'merchant' perk, as with the regular buyable soaps.

Thank you.
I need all dem pretty soaps without having to hunt for each time. . .

Test them out yourself, or open up the esp in TES5Edit and check it yourself.

With the Hunterbord add-on, you can make them from animal fat as well.
I guess that would explain what the inns make soap from too
