so... I am noticing some issues here... I have downloaded all the mods required and gone through all the tutorials available to get this feature to work and its a no go... if I understand it right I can DW many of the lower lvl 2h weapons (iron, steel, etc up to about orc...) I do not use any modded weapons and cannot seem to get dragon bone 2h to work(any of them.) the original mod maker made note that their mod doesn't work on all weapons but I would like to get this issue fixed please... I'm sorry if you have answered this question already on your thread but I honestly don't know what is going on. I have no errors when loading the game and everything else works seamlessly but I cannot seem to dw all the games original 2h weapons. any advice would be incredibly helpful thanks
I know what you are referring to. I understand that pain. But I think I know why, the person who did the original mod probably didn't know how to get it set up. I think I know a basic way to do it. But it would require finding the dragon bone weapons, and making the same changes he did with the others. I don't know why he couldn't figure it out himself. Unless there is something extra that gets in the way.
Mine is 5kb. I am not affiliated with Dual Sheath Redux though, so I could not comment on the specifics there. I just made a patch for another weapons mod.
When launching SUM to patch Duel Wield 2 Handed Weapons V1 and Dual Sheath Redux, it first launches LOOT (BOSS no longer supports Skyrim) and Loot gives me this error message in a big red line saying: Error: Game-specific settings could not be initialised. libloadorder failed to create a game handle. Details: Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp : File is empty.
Yet the patching process will continue after I close LOOT, but will then also give me an error message after a while saying: There was an error exporting the custom patch. (Duplicate EDIDs or FormIDs. Check logs for a listing.) Please contact the Author
All this does is add the offhand for the duel wield 2 handed weapons. There is no esp or anything. All you do is manually install in the Skyrim/data folder, or use NMM, or MO and it would just work.
I might try and see if I can expand on the actual mod itself, but I will have to do some learning first lol. This was easy for me since I have been working with the 3D program Blender.
