HELP ME TEST NEW VARIANT! http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76556/?
I was able to make Attack Commitment (partially) affect only NPC's!
I managed to get ASIS working with my Mod organizer (instructions how to run ASIS via Mod Organizer). It seems that even without any options chosen you still can get NPC's to have attack commitment on power attacks, while player can spin round round round like a record, on normal and power attacks. They still track you on normal attacks though.
To get all that you need:
1. Install my attack commitment mod (any version) 2. Run ASIS and generate a patch 3. Activate ASIS patch 4. Activate a version of attack commitment with simply has vanilla Skyrim values for everything (the file is uploaded into misc category, check download tab).
I have no idea if this may cause problems later or anything, but at least nets you attack commitment for NPC's power attacks.
If anyone is willing to do more testing you are welcome to share observations.
Is it possible to apply these restrictions to only the player and not to NPCs? I find the player already has too much freedom Also, movement speed restriction isn't working. I'm on AE 1.6.353
Does anyone know how to do the opposite? Idk why but my weapon swings while in first person is slowed down whenever I try to swing the sword, as for third person it follows my camera aim so it's fine.
Is this mod compatible with the Combat Gameplay Overhaul? I feel like the unlocked movement provided by CGO would have some conflict with the locked camera/attack angle of this mod
i think is it, since front power attack make the animation kinda weird, because not attacking front, but front right... also when power attack front left, the movement/animation swing to the right front again... i wonder if this is conflicting with CGO, since when only use 1, work fine, but when combine, front power animation weird again. load order doesnt matter it seems
Just to check, does the SSE version need updates for the AE patch? Asking since i can't check myself, having not used the mod yet when AE released, but had it installed.
The mod does exactly what it says and does it very well. Now I have question that is kinda related. Is it possible to disable movement completely during attacking? That would work very well with this mod.

1: Is there a way to make this specific to 1 npc? Say a follower?
2: Does this also lock in the character's movement direction when attacking?
