There has to be someone who can give beginners steps to making our own plugin. The description shows that it is possible, with examples. However, how do you use the dev kit? In CK? How do I install the dev kit? Hope someone can give guidance. I would love to play with this with all kinds of mods!
Just looking into this mod and its quite interesting. I need it as mod author for providing actions for player to perform non-combat. But this could be applied to combat and used as quick follower command etc. Yet I did not find anything related to combat or crosshair refs in the docs or examples.
So here is feed for thought.
- As non-combat and combat mods are way different give player / mod author abilitity to define wheel that is only visible in combat. - There are also other type of states like on mount that could have its own wheel. Also there are adult mods etc that have state for having sex. - Just thinking that if you use bow. Basically most other combat context actions become vain. - If you implement this it would be nice if there could be some icons for combat, non-combat etc states.
I use "swiftly order squad" which as many other mods add their own wheel menu. Which eats keys. So it would be nice to have eveything under this.
On making your own addons, how do you make the script? Does the guide assume that is known by the reader? Opening up other addons in the CK to better understand the guide well enough, I am still at a loss with the script; because there is no way to view that in an editor, that I hoped to use one of those edited. Needless to say, I do not know how to "simply create a script which extends EWM_HandleModBase..."
Ok maybe I'm stupid but I can't seem to figure out how this mod works and I can't find anything that helps me. So what I gather from reading everything, is that I can assign a power/spell to a slot in the wheel so I can just open up the wheel and choose what I'd like to use, vs going and individually equipping the power/spell when I need to use it.
If this is indeed how it's supposed to be used, I'm not being given the option to assign the slots on the wheel. Is this a mod conflict? Did I do something wrong? Can someone please help me? :(

like GTA v weapon menu.
Really wish there was a version of this that allowed us to put spells on it, the no pausing addon needs a wheel menu for spell users
