If this gets rebooted ... that would be real freakin' nice. Or the Survival one.
    Any chance at that?

    Happy New Year UnmeiX!

    This page is outdated.

But still helpful. Keep in mind that the weathher patch now need vivid weathers instead of climates of tamriel.

Hello UnmeiX...I'm getting ready to start another play through and just wondering if any major updated are in the works. This mod is next on my list and I wouldn't want to miss anything. Thanks much.

What do you think about iNeed? I just switch to USLEEP and instead of doing the whole mess of messing with masters. I looked up iNeed and hear it's way better than RND anyways. Runs without patches or anything. Also, RND is no longer being supported, and I hear the RND 2 modder has taken it down and banned.

Okay, it took a while, but I finished my whole setup. I was wondering where you can put Real Shelter. You mention that it's compatible, but you don't really put the best place for its load order. I used to run Real Shelter, but it was a bit of a mess. It works. It just never rained or anything. I felt it did something to the weather. I tried putting RSpatch.esp after Requiem.esp (before Requiem for the Indiff. of course) and before Requiem.esp and it still felt funny.

You're supposed to run the Real Shelter patch, but I always wondered if you run the patch, run reqtificator and then re-run the patch or just leave it alone. I don't know. Real Shelter seems like it needs a bit more guidance, at least the proper load order for the RSpatch.esp since it says in the instructions to put it as low as possible. I just don't know if that means before Requiem.esp or after Requiem.esp.

Also, for some reason, the master swap file for WAO never worked for me. It worked for RS children, but not WAO. It would crash TESVedit when I ran the swap. Tried doing a ton of different things like disabling different plug ins, but it always crashed TESedit when I did the master swap thing. Just a heads up. I had to do it manually from the USLEEP guide which wasn't that bad either, though.

Wow, this is almost too good to be true. I haven't played Skyrim in years, and the wealth of mods that have been released/updated in the time since is...well...overwhelming. I recall my last load order being a major clusterf*** of various patches just to get all the pieces working optimally. This has most of what I want out of modding Skyrim, and it includes instructions! Thank you.

I'm glad you like! There will definitely be more to come, I'm sorta just playing catch-up right now, with regards to updates to everything.

Worth noting: If you want to use USLEEP, you should know that RSE and WAO aren't yet transitioned to USLEEP. I'm in the process of updating them, and WAO can be transitioned to USLEEP with the Swap Masters Script provided by MatorTheEternal, but RSE itself still requires the classic Frostfall 2.6 in its current incarnation. This will be remedied in the next version.

Does this work with the latest updates of Requiem 1.9.3 and USLEEP?

If you download the individual mods from their respective pages, it does indeed; the exceptions for the moment are WAO and RSE, with an update for the latter of the two in the works, after which I'll be getting WAO done.

I was completely lost on modding Skyrim, then I came to this and it sounds exactly like what I want.

But I also checked out your other patches individually (like RSE and COR) in your mod pages, and noticed they actually have extended installation guides with a lot of mods not present here.

I know those patches are outdated by now, but how would I go about installing mods from those guides? Can I still install them without issue? Do I need any special patches for them?
I'm talking stuff like Loot & Degradation, Harvest Overhaul, Flora Respawn Fix, Dynamic Things, Immersive First Person View, etc etc.

Can I just go ahead and install them following the respective mod instructions? Will it mess with the basic installation detailed here?
    Thanks.

Most of the ones you named should be fine without patches; Harvest Overhaul and Flora Respawn Fix, however, would need some love.

I was actually in the process of writing up an extended installation for USE-ME when a lot of updates dropped and I'm still trying to get everything caught up. Finished COR and KFR tonight, I do believe, which is positive; I've been making steady progress updating RSE, too, but that one will take a bit longer.

      Alright, thanks.

What about STEP? Can I follow the Core installation, then simply remove mods detailed in the Requiem pack section? And THEN install USE-ME?

Also, the mods listed in these patches should be safe to use, right?
      http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61621/?
Mostly interested in Animallica, Audio Overhaul, Campfire, Fire and Ice Overhaul, Immersive Patrols/Armor/Weapons.

Also what about Wet and Cold, does it still work, or is it redundant by the other WAO mods?

It's all so confusing to me, I'm trying to keep mods to a minimum but there are so many good ones.
Looking forward to the extended install instructions, will painfully experiment until then.

      Ahh, let's see here. >.<

STEP. From what I've heard, STEP: Requiem is incredibly out-of-date. I heard about plans to update it, but haven't heard of anything since. I have also heard of plans to make something similar; my USE-ME extended install is one such something, but I'm sorta drowning in updates right now, so it'll be awhile before that gets finished.

Animallica is good, but isn't really compatible with Hunterborn, so if you're planning on picking up RSE, you might want to wait on Animallica, or save RSE for a 'next playthrough'.

Wet and Cold is recommended for use alongside WAO.

      Gotcha.

I won't bother you anymore, since I'm getting the hang of how compatibility works now, and noticing 99% of the time it's more balance issues than technical ones (just because I can use a mod, doesn't mean that I should), and since Requiem is such a big overhaul I have also decided to keep modding to a minimum.

Gonna go with mostly just a few core STEP mods (quality of life stuff, nothing major), USE-ME (every module), Wet and Cold, Death Alternative, Flora Respawn Fix, Loot & Degradation and Immersive First Person View. Shouldn't have any problems with this setup from what I've seen.

Thanks for the help and sorry to be a bother, it just gets overwhelming getting my head around everything.

No worries at all, I'm glad I could help.

With regards to USE-ME; I highly recommend installing the parts individually, as they're more updated than the central package.

The selection of mods, the goal you pursue.. is it ? It can't be ! Are you me ? :O
Haha no but for real this is so great you're literally speaking out of my mind. I never got around to work on a "compilation" to revamp skyrim but this is almost exactly as I imagined. I cant wait to see the progress ! Keep it up
