In that case I really don't know what the problem could be. In this version the journal entry should show up automatically when you go look for Arngeir, so if that doesn't happen and the console commands don't work I don't think there's anything I can do to help. The problem could be from another mod or a bug in the game that I don't know about.
i have never had problem with finding him, i use aura wisper or magic to locate them, but i agree with you anyway where is he now again the 4 monks wander around or whatever hes doing, this mod dont get credit enough for this.
i have several charecter and so its many words locations i have to keep finding, and this just looks like what i need a spot on tell where are you now "Where is Wally?" lol

maybe add it to MCM menu with enable mark so hes always marked just like compaions in whiterun
because either i miss some informations inside game or it wont work with all the other mods i use. i think its me that dont know how to write the command with setstage 0
i just want a permanet flag on him and log can be a select/deselect choise
I was using mark and recall and had six locations where he'd most likely be in High Hrothgar marked to teleport to for when I need to find a word wall location from him, I'll add this to my book marks favorites and keep a eye on it!..
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who had trouble finding Arngeir. Thanks for taking a look at my mod, and just FYI, I've decided today to expand it a little bit so that it has markers for Arngeir in High Hrothgar for Word Walls, and Esbern in Sky Haven Temple for dragon hunting. So stay tuned for that.

still no entry in journal i have left the area also. same thing
