Hey, I just want to say, I really hope this mod gets made. It is sorely needed! I love 3dNPC but romance was never its focus. That romance mod... I have it, I play with it because it is sort f better than nothing but I seriously hate Bishop. He is not lore acceptable or attractive (looks like a soap star) and his personality is off putting to say the least (I'd say he is nearly abusive), so I can't wait for something like what you are making here. If I can help in any way let me know, I can write decent dialogue and in a pinch I can voice act, I'm 30-ish female, but I might be able to trick my fiance into doing some lines if needed. I don't know why you got banned but I really hope they let you back.
On another note, I am sure you have your hands full but I have an idea for a mod that might complement what you are trying to do here... but I have never so much as peeped in the CK and am unsure where to even start. If you are interested in any collaboration let me know.
Unfortunately, they have not let him back...and the only place you can go to see his progress is at the 'website that cannot be named' if you know what that means. There has been quite a bit of progress, so don't worry...this mod isn't dead yet. :3
Aah too bad, well all is well anyway if he is busy over *there*! I am happy to hear that this is still being worked on. Will check it out! Thanks for letting me know!
There are so many NPCs in Skyrim, and one wonders who they really are... It would be so interesting to make every unique NPC have a background and history and stuff. Even unvoiced would be a major addition to the bland NPC dialog.
I am the author's roommate, he's currently banned but perhaps he will be unbanned(don't know). This mod is still in progress, but he is facing some problems, the one that I know is the new scenes don't work. I believe he has found voice actors for the mod as well, I heard him talking about the dialogues in Skype.
In the current version, as far as I understand the only way to hear Onmund's story is to tell him that he's handsome. Could this change in the future for players that don't plan on romancing him but might be curious about his past?
I found this link on the 3dnpc forum somewhere. I also can't wait to get some proper romance in Skyrim. The romance mods on LL (like Amorous Adventures) are, as you stated before, for a male PC and don't appeal to my gorgeous, CBBE enhanced, fancy redguard ninja mage
I'm looking forward to what this mod will be when grown up (I remember the first steps of 3dnpc...)
I'm not a programmer or artist, but I can help bug-hunting if needed. If you need another mature female voice, I can send you a recording of a few lines of your choosing.
I cannot wait until this mod is finished ^^ I know you're short on voice actors, writers, etc. I wish I could help with voice acting but... I have the voice of a 14 y/o girl (because I am one xD)
Following in solidarity with your mission statement. SRM, besides being written atrociously, pilfered most of its cast from the Neverwinter Nights games; they really don't fit the aesthetic of Skyrim. And they were already goofy and underwritten in their original game. I couldn't even take Bishop seriously in Neverwinter Nights 2.
Personal requests/recommendations: I would love to see Ralof and Hadvar's families enhanced with some meaningful dialogue and a quest chain deserving of them. They've got a compelling framework and, as our introduction to Skyrim, already poke at players' sentimental organs. I just wished there was more to do with them. Personally, I have always envisioned resolving--or escalating--a feud between these two neighbors, likely over the civil war. (Also, how come Ralof doesn't have a unique voice but Hadvar does, eh? Eh, Bethesda? Don't get me wrong; I think both voice sets suit them. It just seems unfair, no?)

However, I don't plan on changing the starting line, as I don't find the other possibilities logical enough...
"Aren't you the dumb one in this college?"
"Aren't you the weakling in this college?"
And a simple "Hello" isn't good as well.
