I just got the Creation Kit myself and past two days learned how to copy an existing home via a Youtube video using Alvors home in Riverwood. I also was thinking of Jorrvaskr, and possibilities seem limitless. (May limit to personal use.)
Some thoughts on my run-through with follower:
- Front/Back doors appeared to open to the same place, toward the Whiterun Stables.
- Couldn't open the door leading to the downstairs area. Perhaps there is nothing on the other side?
- Could use only one of the two beds that I saw. Other was owned. Follower Vilja slept in the bed we could use, but although a double bed only she could use it. One person at a time?
- Some items in bed area were marked "steal". Probably not good for a player owned home.
- Little things like an indoor smelter with no venting (that I recall). Very spacious.
I watched the same video. I dont know why the doors do that, the downstairs door was set to inaccessable until I add an interior(dont know which interior to add). As for the bed, it is supposed to be for housecarls which I assumed would apply for followers (obviously not). I will fix the unowned items and I dont know what you mean about the smelter. But thank you for the feedback.
