Porting this myself to SE.  I see there are only scripts packed into the BSA.  Wondering if I need to re-pack them into a new BSA compatible with SE.  Usually scripts remain as loose files, aren't packed into a BSA.

I adore this mod and it is an essential part of my Skyrim experience!

I know it is way way way in the future at this point, but wanted to express my gratitude and joy with this mod!

I do have a small question for any lurkers out there:
Do any of you notice an extremely fast skill leveling while sneaking? I'll be crouching in a dungeon and walk down a hallway and my heavy armor skill will go up by a full point and is halfway to the next level. It increases super fast. I know there's that Sneak Roll multiplier, but I can't decrease its value or turn it off. It makes me never want to try and sneak because my armor skills will go up by like 5 points before the end of the dungeon.

Could the sneak multiplier value be edited directly in xEdit or perhaps changed in one of the scripts? It's not a huge deal, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks!

What is the script load this mod adds to the game? I'm assuming it's high because this script has to run all the time if you're wearing full armor right? Does this mod cause save bloat or crashes?

For those who have problems with it not working, try deactivate and enable it back on in the MCM menu.

    I love it.
I was using the steam version for a bit.

It sucks, even more as a warrior. You get hit often, but you're usually blocking so you'll gain block EXP instead of armor EXP. In higher difficulties, unless you abuse smithing and enchanting, you can't afford to let enemies hit you that much. I've actually got a few mods that drastically increase the strength of enemies, and having 20 Heavy Armor to 90 Two-handed is a bit unfortunate.

It makes sense, too. I mean, by lugging around heavy armor, you're going to get stronger which in turn is going to reduce how much that armor burdens you, and improve your ability to move/deflect incoming attacks off of the face of it. Hell, there's an entire book in the game about a guy with very little battle experience learning how to move in light armor, and never being hit as a result.

Either way, simple mod fantastic effect. Thank you.

Glad you made this I'm presently switching from using SPERG (Which already has a feature like this included) to Ordinator and considering that I usually play archers who normally don't get hit I was a bit annoyed at the thought of having to go back to letting giants beat on me to level my armor. I was looking at the original Armored Sprint but as you know it only gave training for sprinting not for just general running around.

Although there is one thing I wanted to ask that has me a little concerned. I noticed in Mod Organizer that this mod overwrites a script from SkyUI (specifically ski_playerloadgamealias.pex) and I was wondering what the reason for that was, the original Armored Sprint overwrote the same script which had me a bit worried considering how hold the mod is because I didn't like the idea of possibly overwriting a script from a newer version of Skyui with one from an older version (though I honestly don't know if that particular script for Skyui has changed at all since Armored Sprint was released.) Anyway I suppose it's okay since everything with SkyUI seems to still be working at a glance though it's still a bit concerning since I have almost 200 mods installed and none of the others overwrite any SkyUI scripts.

Also one other question, will sprinting increase my armor skill any faster then normal running or is it basically the same no matter what I'm doing?

I am not sure if sprinting, will increase it at all. The changes I made are quite hotwired, I am no scripter, I was glad I did mange do it and to do it stable. What I can tell is that sneaking will increase it faster, only a sideeffect, but perfect in my eyes, because sneaking around in armor is difficult, but you learn a lot. :-)

I installed exactly according to instructions, everything is on, there are no conflicting mods, and yet this mod doesn't work. I believe it is broken and no longer usable. Hopefully the author looks into this.

It works like a charm on my rig. A mod does not break by itself. Look for conflicting mods.
      Way to go is:
      Disable ALL other mods.
      Start new game.
Get 4 pieces of the same armor type.
Set running skill use to max.
Run around, the armor-skill-bar should increase.
If all else fails disable the mod in the mcm -> save, enable mod in mcm -> save.

According to my screenshot, the default should already be 0.10, I do not want to change to much, because it is perfectly stable at the moment. And this was not always the case. ;-)

Well I think you do not have to. You will reach the +25% only with light armor 100, before it is rather marginal. But you can disable the feature.

0.10 is already very low. You need to travel from the exit of the starter dungeon to Riverwood to raise it from 15 to 16. Keep in mind skill progression slows down the higher you go. I found 0.10 perfect, if you want to go lower just download Version 1.1, slider should now go lower.

      Yes, running, not just sprinting.
