Was made way before Dawnguard and hasn't been touched since, use it for your own risk, but if you decide to do, please give back some feedback how is it working with Dawnguard.
I'd say your newer mod with the vampire perk tree supersedes this one, but there's no need to remove this one. It doesn't hurt anything to still be available and it's possible someone might want to use it.
The best way is to do that your vampire is at stage 1 when first activating mods that altering vampirism. Then you should skip a stage and/or feed that should help you out.
I activated this with an existing vampire char and noticed the following: my magicka regen is constantly stunted, even when indoors and at night. Not sure if this is a general bug or resultant of using an existing vampire save. My hp also jumped up a base 200, fixed it with the console.
Which one? There is one for each stage from 25-100% if I'm right. I can make it to 50-25-15-0 for stages from 1 to 4 if you more fancy that. Or you can check out my other mod called Ultimate Vampirism - Overhaul where you can choose from perk tree based on 20% bonus/perks if you wish.
