I find your idea great, supplies what I needed since I installed the Frostfall Cottage {found here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51810/?} which I made my home for one of my may characters but sadly comes without no forge. I just downloaded your mod and installed it right now. I will provide you further feedbacks after I checked the installation and how the things work out. In case of conflict with the cottage {my concern is the cottage and the forge are placed in the same area before the ruins arriving at Winterhold} I would already suggest you an optional version, without the ruined building, to use the ruins themselves. Another great idea would be if you were able to use the same system used by 'Frostfall - Hypotermia Camping Survival' which allows you to move the item you're creating in the position of our choice just like when you build a campfire, for example.
Are just ideas, I'll keep you up to date as soon as I figure out how things work so far.

All works fine, the forge is a few rocks away from the cottage and no child is at risk to die burnt and compatibility seems OK. I confirm my suggestions in any case, for the alternative and for already said by Moksha80800 before me. I'll be looking forwards for updates and improvements. Cheers!
Neither the grinding wheel nor the workbench work. Since this mod is a good idea, it would be great to click the necessary boxes, etc.. to make these items function properly.
