I find it strange, but also very amusing that a fully crafted, battle-ready Steel Battleaxe is required to forge a necklace the size of the palm of a hand. I do get why you wanted to make crafting the Amulet of Talos unique, but I can't help but grin when I picture my character scratching his head when he crafts an amulet, and then sees that the axe he made ten seconds ago is missing from his inventory.
Haha, yeah, I know I've gotten some criticism for using a full steel battleaxe, but yeah might as well as make some humor out of it. When I was making it, i really just had no other idea to make the crafting ingredients for Talos to be really unique. And really, steel battleaxes are pretty common so if you don't wanna make one i'm sure you have found 5 already.
This is a great mod, but the crafting for Talos is very immersion breaking. As Thomas said, it doesn't make sense. I'm not sure how it should be made, but even changing the steel battleaxe to ancient nordic battle axe to make it more unqiue? Maybe silver and corundum? It just seems a little out of place...but otherwise great mod!
Eh.. I kinda just did that for the look of the amulet, and a lack of better idea to make the Crafting Recipe unique compared to the others. And symbolism wise, Talos is the warrior god.
