i like your mod because it is simple, can you extende it ? there are other big creatures like centurions, giants, ecc. like argonian soldier said a version without dragons should be useful.
hello! i have used this mod a while ago and i noticed that it conflicts with vanilla dragon riding, my character gets stuck in the mid air while the dragon flies away, after a deactivate this mod i ride again a dragon and it works fine, do anyone having this? is there a fix? am using all dlc's with my skyrim.
I notice that Dragon Combat Overhaul does the same thing your mod does with regards to the impact and force of a dragon's blows. Are the two mods compatible?

If they aren't compatible, are to planning on releasing a "mammoths and giants only" version for those who use DCO?
Dragon combat overhaul might have a similar feature but it's bloated as hell and crashes are almost unavoidable. Certainly the best feature is that knockback, so to have it standalone seems btter than just using DCO.
Dragon combat overhaul is a very script intensive mod, if you have many other mods and have a mature save DCO will very likely cause you problems, lots of people report crashing with big script heavy mods.
really that never happend to me i have play thru of over 100 hours without any problems with dco+a bunch of other script heavy mods(better vampires, all other mods from apollo,Athletics Training, wetncold etc) and I never had an issue.
It probably also depends on your computer, whether or not DCO is taxing for you. For example I play skyrim with a very weak cpu and an integrated card and I already use too many than I should script heavy mods, so I'm always looking for alternatives.
Well, try to combine a dozen of them on top of a modlist already almost hitting the limit, ending up with 254 esps including Dragon Combat Overhaul, Civil War Overhaul, SkyTEST, Immersive Patrols and such and you WILL run into problems. Unfortunately. So looking for script free alternatives is never a bad thing. I've tried the above with an i7 3930K and a GTX 680 4GB and got unavoidable freezes every hour with a 10 MB+ Papyrus log or so.
Bah, I have had DCO on many playthroughs and I use to ctd once in a while but that was because I didn't properly setup the memory patch in skse through MO properly and would run out of memory, but afterwards with it working, no crashes since. Hell I have DCO, Chaos Dragons, Monster mod v13, ROTE, High level enemies, Immersive patrols, Warzones, Genesis + Sleeping encounters, and a few one off spawning creature mods and my game is solid. Though I have found the beautiful program called mator Smash that takes your mods and does beautiful things with them making them work together in a way a bashed, or merged patch ever could sooo, google it and rejoice!

Would it be possible for you to make an optional "Mammoths Only"-version for people who use the " Dragon Combat Overhaul" mod?
I ask this because DCO already gives dragons a knockdown effect and may have compatibility issues with your mod.

Suggestions :
- adding this force to Giant spiders, bears and sabrecats power attacks would be useful too, with a lower value (5 or 6 instead of 10).
