Skyrim: Special Edition (SE) support (including consoles) is in the works and I'm estimating a release at the start of August. Please bear in mind due to platform restrictions, the following changes will apply:
NO pregnancy scaling* NO MCM** NO AP Support Children look inheritance is severely limited***
* The only way scaling can be done without SKSE and therefore on console/SE, is to make scaled armour/clothing for each stage, and then these can be forcefully equipped at each stage, and then removed once pregnancy is complete. Sorry there is NO other way around it without SKSE, which will NEVER be on consoles.
** To get around this, i'm going for the good old message box style menus. This isn't as nice or easy to make, but it's the only cross platform solution.
*** I've created a load of bases for the 3 children races, with different hair colours and style, with vampire support. Without SKSE I can't get the player hair colour and match it, or change hair styles. So to get around this, I will require the player to tell the scripts about hair colour, race etc. This would be done using a custom book. Then I can create the child using the nearest base, Unlike this current mod, the next one will be open source, and you can happily add support for any other mods, be sure to send a finished copy to me and i'll add it to the official version.
Hearthfire will be the only requirement this time round.
Thanks for your interest, this new platform should be much better for everyone. I'll try and look into fixing this mod, though a rewrite will most likely be required and it would be based off the SE version.
As this mod requires SKSE it will never be able to work on consoles

2.0.7 is (slowly) in the works, current change log:
-- Added option to reset pregnancy timer (for when its not working) -- Adds / Readds set spouse spell -- Fixed force parent MCM option not having any effect

I'm starting to get back to work on this mod, as long as skyrim plays ball. I've replied to all bugs with a debug information request, it should make it significantly easier to find the cause of the bugs.
Translations please refer to the below post. Any bugs please refer to the following please:
Please refer to the debugging information request:
type into the console: save "filename" 1
This creates a text file with the complete state of your game (like a supermahoosive log), it can and probably will be large (if its too big you don't have to send it to me, it just helps!, compress it whatever way you want, upload it somewhere like dropbox etc and send me a link in a pm.
Using this I can see what all variables etc and scripts are doing so I can see easier whats amiss.

Hello all,
An update for the last few months, I haven't done any modding period. :-/
I'm hoping to get a little bit of time in the near future, to hopefully tie up the loose ends on this mod. Can't guarantee it however.
Regarding translations, all messages are entirely in the script so that can't be translated i'm afraid. Dialogue however is free game, feel free to translate no permission required.
hey kdridders! i got a question i have a race called dagi-raht reborn race does this mod will work with this mod because i want Khajiit child hehe but do you take request also? let me know!!
Hello I have a question. Which version of AP Skyrim mod does this version support? I used the latest version of AP and it still goes black for half second as if I didn't turn AP animation on.
Kdridders. I'm contacting you; because I was wondering if you'd be interested in checking out CEO's OSA framework. It's a framework which you might be interested in looking at. It could help with animations and maybe help with script loads. I would definitely look into it. It is used for sex modding... HOWEVER... It could be used for other things like pregnancy animations and maybe setup's for parent and child interaction animations like holding your child or playing catch. Simple stuff like that and it might go really well with your mod here. Anyway, I'm just suggesting looking into it.
I'll be downloading your mod and comparing it to Beeing Female. I'm interested in both mods as I'd like to have a dovahfam.
hello its me again i would like to suggest that you add the source scripts files to the mod folder for those mod makers who want to ad patches for child overhaul mods like for instance i created a children mod that adds child races for all the missing children races and would like to patch them into your mod plus i have a small script that i can add that makes your argonians lay eggs adn then those eggs hatch the child but without your source scripts i cant add them to this mod and i really would like to be able to use both your mod and my mod
Tooneyman's information is slightly out of date in that OSA is now seperate from OSex but, the OSA framework allows for incredible amounts of animation sequence details e.g. one kiss scene I used recently takes several steps in positioning the body to the proper angle rather than directly applying the animation this allows for greater finesse which was Tooneyman's point and I'm in total agreement. A secondary point of concern is how this will interact with child overhauls as child mods tend to be notoriously fussy.
Since the Fallout 4 Creation Kit has been released, I'm starting work on this mod for Fallout 4. It will be Fallout Family Life (FFL instead of SFL). Obviously there is no marriage but for similarity to skyrim it will be available for max affinity :-)

I've uploaded 2.0.6 please use on a clean save, preferably one that hasn't used this mod or had any children. You can also use a save cleaner to remove old scripts. I recommend this with any version updates as it can help prevent issues in advance.
I managed to get my NMM working enough to let me test, i've cleared all bugs I encountered tonight, so hopefully there shouldn't be anymore.
I found a couple of bugs related to hearthfire adoption, but it seems that this is on hearthfires end and I cannot do anything about it. For some reason my spouse goes outside a lot (conveniently giving birth outside) I think this also messes with the new spawning system :-/
2.0.6
-- Fixed AP skyrim enable bug -- Fixed AP Skyrim animations always -- Fixed Dialogue Issue -- Fixed Delete Child MCM not working -- Fixed Incomplete child details in MCM -- Added new child spawn method -- Heavily optimized hair setting code (200 lines smaller!!
I just tried 2.0.3. Pregnancy scaling didn't work as in 1.7, and the body profiles screen just showed the credits for the mod.
Also, the pregnancy belly customization is very glitch in 1.7 (belly ignores settings, sometimes goes to 0 for some reason, etc.). Am I missing something, or are these just glitches being worked out?
Thanks again for making such an awesome mod!' Zoracraft
Yes the code for belly scaling is disabled in 2.0.3 it will be enabled in 2.0.4, the scaling is currently in testing with the assistance of a long time user of this mod. Progress is being made and they've helped me by reporting all the bugs with it.
I've sent them a new version, once all the little bugs are resolved then I'll upload 2.0.4
Thank you for dating your updates. It might seem like a daft, silly thing, but it makes it a *lot* easier to determine the state of a mod and the mod author's rate of interaction. <3
Ok i DOn't get it Its not working When i talk 2 my wife nothing pops up to where we make love, Not sure why. I dont have the spell 2 knock some one up, set spose, I cant get the dialog 2 work, I am a male, in the game my wife is Mjoll the Lioness, I installed it with NMM a little help would be nice that Stuff in the not did not even work,
This is already a known issue and kdridders is working on it currently. You'll have to be patient. If you need the dialogue option, one possibility is using an earlier version.
I just want to express some enthusiasm for what you're doing here.
I won't be downloading or trying it out just yet, since it seems somewhat early-phase, and I walk a pretty delicate mod balance. I am however following, and will be looking forward to your beta when its ready.
(and this probably should have been a comment and not a reply, sorry)
Hello I have a question. Which version of AP Skyrim mod does this version support? I used the latest version of AP and it still goes black for half second as if I didn't turn AP animation on.
In vanilla Skyrim, the only children are from the humanoid races. For any other race, the mod uses adult models and shrinks them down to be the same size as children.
You can customize which race your child inherits in the MCM. But be warned, Only Bretons, Imperials, Nords, and Redguards will look like actual kids. Any other race results in an adult model shrunk down to the height of a child.
I need help with a problem. With Farkas I ask him "Lets talk my love." but then after hes done talking all dialogue options go off so i dont get the choice to take him to bed. If anyone could tell me how to solve this would be great thanks. Also, i don't get any spells.

I don't know if anyone will see or answer this, but does this work on Mod NPCs? For example could you have a child with Mirai?
