I really like this idea but I have a problem. When I run the batch file, the command prompt window opens and then closes without output. When I try running the .jar file itself, the Java Virtual Machine launcher gives me an error: "Could not find the main class: RaceNumGen. Program will exit."
Normally I'd assume that the source of the error was on my end, but that error sounds like this is a pre-compile problem. Any ideas what might be going on?
If you'd like, I can take a look at your code and see what happens when I try compiling and running on my pc. PM me. I promise not to publish your work under my own name and sell the movie rights for millions of dollars.
Hmm interesting. I've never thought of having a program do this for me.
I wonder if somebody can take this idea and put it into an in-game thing, including the random rolling, which actually affects the player's stats, factions, etc., as well.

Edit: I forgot to mention I did have plans of implementing it into the game but I'm a long way from being capable of doing that.
