Overall I like it. I would rather see an elder scroll rack instead of rugs as well as black books storage. Yes the mannys move. I belive the awning in back is for a horse? The exterior works as a reminder that the nords aren't native to skyrim. Kids should be optional. Other than that a very nice home for an adventurer who wiahes to keep things small a pet or two and a 2 legged follower. Endorsing.

Thank you! Honestly I'm not sure what the mannequin problem is all about, never had that problem.

Mannequin problem was mentioned many-many times on the Internet, it is a vanilla issue and has nothing to do with this mod. I always have it as well, I just never bothered to correct that, since I don't pay attention to it. As a temporary fix, activate a mannequin and put something in its inventory. Or look for a file called something like "Vanilla Mannequin Script Fix" on Nexus, that should correct the issue if I'm not mistaken.

A very nice house, and I like the fact you have chosen a different location from other house mods in the area and a good one too, convenient and with good views across the river to Riverwood.

I've only looked at it briefly so far, but I have some suggestions:

To make it more follower-friendly, I suggest adding a second throne seat alongside the existing one that faces the fireplace, so when the player-character sits there, their follower can sit next to them. There seems to be plenty of room to do that. Incidentally I had no problems looking around when sitting on the existing throne. I also suggest placing a bench seat backing onto the house wall on the verandah facing the river, one where the player character and their follower could sit together and admire the view across the river. The existing single chair at the far end of the verandah has its back to this view.

Would it be possible to add a small shrine? However, the house is nice and 'clean' at the moment so I wouldn't like to see that spoilt. Some sort of hot tub for two somewhere outside would be a nice addition too if it could be fitted in, maybe next to the large tree?

Thanks for taking up the suggestion of the additional seats and the shrine. The additional seating is exactly what I had in mind. As well as being a great house in an excellent location it is now even more follower-friendly too.

Oh my. Almost the moment I promised to myself I won't be downloading and testing any more house mods, you release a new gem. Have I mentioned that I'm your fan? There can never be too many house mods from you. You, my dear friend, are amazing at making gorgeous unique homes, your style is easily recognizeable.

I was just thinking about buying Vlindrel Hall and adding a few Dunmer-styled elements to its interior when I noticed this. It's perfect. I don't mind the location (who would complain about living almost in the center of Skyrim, quite convenient to get anywhere). I absolutely love the style. I've never played any games of the series except for Skyrim, but since Solstheim and tons of lore from the wikis I'm in love with Morrowind theme. I also like the little things that add to the atmosphere. Your custom door is amazing. I have a soft spot for stained glass. The idea to add Dragonborn runic stuff to the arcane enchanter is wonderful! I'm also glad you included the mirror thingie (I liked it in in one of your previous house mods), an Imperial banner (my character is a Dunmer who supports the Empire) and a Telvanni banner. The house itself fits the location very well, like it's always been there. My most favourite thing about it by far is a fireplace.

Brilliant job, as always! Thank you very much for sharing!

Aw that's very kind of you, I greatly appreciate that! =D I'm happy to have made something your Dunmer could enjoy! Let me know if there's anything else I could do!

Endorsed. The exterior looks great at night. Didn't have any manikin movement (have had that in other mods). I like the basement crafting area. (submitting screenshot).

Just did a quick download and test.

Very nice! I really like where you located the house and how you built the porch next to the river. So wide there the river almost looks like a small lake. I don't know if I've seen a house in that spot before.

    A few things:

    - When I went downstairs the second time the three mannequins were all on the other side of the hall, next to the kids' rooms. They immediately went back to their proper spots when I placed something on them.

    - When I sat in the throne chair I couldn't pan around the room, just looking at the fireplace.

    - The fireplace, btw, is very nice! About the best I've seen.

    - I didn't take my followers. Although the house may be follower friendly I didn't see any bedrooms for them (only kids). But then it isn't always that easy to get a follower to use a bedroom and sleep in it anyway. (In my experience anyway: using AFT)

    - The weapon racks/displays appeared to work.

    - Didn't notice a stable for my horse.

I've been putting my play largely on hold the past couple of weeks to test homes (almost as fun as playing), and with all of the competition around Riverwood - notably Riverside Lodge and Leaf Rest (just across the river from you next to Alvor's) - among others, how does one choose a home in that admittedly nice area? What criteria? I for one would like to hear why one of the existing Riverwood houses didn't work for you, so that you built your own in that area. I think that would be interesting.

Then again I guess I should state why I haven't stayed with any of those great homes.

Right now I'm seriously testing the fairly new Tower ASADA out in the boonies (which has a few bugs during my use at least but fits some of my criteria.) But I just can't help testing houses....

    Again, nice job!
