I installed this mod awhile back but sadly my chars skin had turned pink (the default when no texture is found) So I restarted my save. I installed it again recently and the texture failed again. I found out it was this mod and it would only fix by manually removing the contents.
Figured I'd post this here in case anyone else was having the issue.
I have never encountered a bug like that before! Have you tried installing it manually? Also did you load the preset via racemenu, and lastly are you using a custom race?
I wasn't using a custom race and I did load it via race menu. I never installed it manually but it may have helped, I decided on creating my char from scratch anywho so i don't think I'll be trying a manual installation any time soon.
Thank you Fiszi! I use Grim and Somber Jgy....However you pronounce the Prince of Order's name. I crank up the DES settings to make the background fade away.

Elf-Bane 3 (40 rough in the CK)
Twilight Years 2 (on the Elder race)
