Is this compatible with Open Cities ? Seems like everytime I come from riverwood, when the house finally loads in, the game freezes and I have to CTRL ALT DEL.
Can confirm that it is compatible, BUT, if you're running a low end rig loading all that stuff in takes a minute and may freeze the game. It did my first time and when i CTRL ALT DEL'd the game started going again. When it did it the second time however the game couldn't recover.
I didn't even expect it to be compatible with Open Cities. I think any mod that places things nearby the Open Cities would cause CTD, because the game can't handle too many things being in the same cell. Don't use them together then.
Very welcome, thank you. Looks like this home-location fits to Tundra-Farm home mod. I was looking for a long time for such an additonal home in direction western Tower, and the follower-beds are only the better. Will dl and check it out and come back to endorse, if it suits into the location-spacing of my game.
EDIT
Installed and checked out. - Clips with Tundra Farm mod - But i decided to remove the Tundra Farm in favor of this new Farm (different reasons).
Now some feedback: - Everything seems to work issuefree so far (navmesh etc.), well done. - Shrines, too much (imo. cheating content). - Filled up book furniture. - Didn't see first (because didn't read exactly the desc page), that the cellar beds are all children-beds (6 beds). - Imo., this location is not suited to make up a home for 6 children or overall (close to encounter location of enemies).
Suggestions: Optional mod 1. With 6 follower beds (unowned beds) instead children-owned, no children content in the cellar (training-puppet etc.), but keeping the chests just for possible followers. 2. No shrines at all, or for a Whiterun-convinience, a (second) shrine of Kynareth, or just one Akay or Arkatosh whatsoever (please no Talos, that's boring). 3. No filled containers (atm. there is an enchanted ring and jewelry, a load of books).
... that, or at least no. 1 (perhaps incl. no. 2) would be great. Otherwise, i might look into it myself in CK for a customisation. Endorsed anyway.
Edit2:
Just riding westwards with Lydia from the location to the West-Tower, and she was trapped behind the farm fences, although her horse was on the road in front of the farm, she jumped on her horse but rode back into the farm site, then blocked by the west-fence. Not sure if this is your mod though (invisible rest-obstacle whatsoever due to the removed Tundra Farm mod, although can't imagine it really), you might have a look into your file? Have to decide to disabling for now, as that eventually could happen to any NPC on journey on the road westwards. The other road-direction, east, seems to work flawless.
Thanks so much for the notices and sorry to answer this late. Unfortunately I'm not a very good modder so I doubt that I could fix anything that is wrong with the house. Also I like the child beds and the lots of shrines. Currently I have some issues with my other house mod, but maybe after that I'll empty the containers if I can. This however is a family home, I don't really want to change it. Maybe I'll make another home near Whiterun with follower beds instead of child beds, but I don't know yet.
Hello! So I made a multiple follower friendly home, as I said I will. It's not near Whiterun though. Here. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67019/?
It's always nice to see more content added around Whiterun. Do you have any known (in)compatibilities with other mods? Especially ETaC, JK's, and Eli's?
Thanks. I'll upload a picture of the map marker if something is on the same location, then that isn't compatible with my house. I don't know if there are incompatiblities with not house mods, but everything is possible, since there are tons of mods.
