i dont know why your mod is not getting enough attention but i have to say it is 1 of the best player homes.the only thing it needs is a spider imbuing chamber maybe turn the forge in to a skyforge and improve the scripts for the auto sort and you have the best player home on the nexus , great work mate

Hello RDR, I had downloaded and tested your house, its fantanstic! Beautiful and peacefull interior lights, and especially the best fully navmesh! my followers can walking around in and outdoor easily without bump,I really like it.

However, just a little problem, I use my home is your home and AFT(follower mod),when I set my spouse's home at 2nd floor, she always sleeps at guest room, not master room,so...,maybe, if you not busy, could you make an another version,like...guest room change to library or collection room,or something else?

Anyway,I still love this house and keep tracking this mod, thank you for your best gift to mod lovers on nexusskyrim!

      Hey xmohaa,

I'm glad you like the house. I have had one other report of issues with AFT in Skogurheim, at this time I don't know whats causing it. I will download AFT and my home is your home so I can look at how they work so I can come up with a solution to this problem.

I know I'm a little late on responding to this one, but...

A simple solution would be to do a few things: a) add an XMarker in the house; b) associate certain keywords to both the XMarker and the bed you want the spouse to sleep in; c) Add a faction ownership.

      1. Place your XMarker in the center location of the house.

      2. Double-click the XMarker and go to the "Location Ref Type" tab... add "LocationCenterMarker" as the keyword.

      3. Double click the master bed and go to "Linked Reference" tab, add a link from the bed itself to the XMarker that you just placed in the house.

      4. Don't close the bed's reference screen just yet! After linking the bed to the XMarker, go to the bottom of the bed's reference screen under the "Linked Reference" tab and look for the drop down box at the very bottom. Add "SpouseBedKeyword" in that keyword drop down box.

      5. Go to the "Ownership" tab on the bed's reference screen and select "PlayerBedOwnership" under the "Faction" drop down box. Don't worry, the spouse will automatically be added to the PlayerBedOwership faction after the player marries the NPC.

      6. Save, close, test.

Wow thank you for that info. Its difficult to find those kinds of specific details when researching how to used the creation kit. Are you a modder yourself?

Hello Runedasrune, Not sure if your still modding for skyrim, or still working on this, I would like to say, this home would be perfect if it was hearthfire compatible in the sense you bring adopted kids here along with spouse, o.O
So my question is , are you ever likely to be or will you ever be thinking of changing that to being compatible, kids and spouse wise, in the future ??
I know a lot of other people would like that too, this home is absolutely wonderful tracking and kudo'd

I totally agree. That's the only reason I'm not currently using the mod but I do track it so if and when that becomes available, it's back on my list.

Also I would like to add I read somewhere either in the description or else, you were asking for suggestions, I know you dont use or possibly have hearthfire, but I'm thinking a hidden vamp style room with the door being opened by only those who are vamps so save non vamps walking in there ( immersion wise ) and maybe with an added cattle 1 oe 2 in there ?just a thought !!

Wow. This house is an absolute GEM. Endorsed! It's close enough to Honeystrand Meadery to make having that business a natural for one of my girls. I find the sorters are a bit hit or miss - sometimes some of them work, sometimes they all do, sometimes none of them do. I have this loaded last in my load order.... Since I'm a packrat I really love all the storage! I didn't find a specific place for keys? If there's not one, I can add a strong box.

The horse stays nicely in the stable - and I believe this is the only house mod I've ever tried where that's the case. This is really a great mod - hope you're still planning on the Hearthfire version, as that would make me even happier!

Fantastic house mod! Definitely one of my favourites of all time.

I seem to be having a problem - the autostrip feature is no longer working. The lever is set to remove clothing (and it used to work great) but for some reason it stopped working... I tried uninstalling any mods I can remember installing since I last saw it work but so far no dice :/ just wondering if anyone else has run into this or a similar problem and if anyone has found a solution.

Spent much of my free time over the last few days trying out different house mods, and in all honesty this is one of the coolest.

The location is sketchy as balls--during my initial visit, I ducked through the door while under assault from three wolves, a bear, two bandits, and a dragon--but once you're inside, this place is amazing. Great layout, all the bells and whistles for storing your loot, feels "cozy" despite having a medium footprint, and plenty of unique and interesting design choices. Love, love, *love* the bath area, and was stoked / surprised / slightly uncomfortable when Arissa went full Girls Gone Wild as she jumped in the tub. The armory, despite being behind a load gate, is hella aesthetic yo.

As a matter of personal taste, I'll probably tweak the overall lighting to make everything a bit brighter - but that's worth the small effort on my part for a house this good. Endorsed and Kudos, nice work!

    Great house mod!

The auto-locking gate is AWESOME, especially since a lot of npcs & feral creatures roam about the area.

Though, I have to ask, do you have any plans of making a future house in... a more scenic location? 'coz overall, your house design & its features are excellent from the perimeter walls to the bath ... BUT, the surrounding area is a bit drab (to say the least).

Finding locations in Skyrim large enough for home and yard, that don't interfere with original content or very popular mods is very difficult. I spent over a week searching the map for a place with beautiful landscape and would be suitable for the scope of my house mod. I eventually just settled for this place in the rift. Elysium Estate and Riverside Lodge have the absolute best locations in my opinion, they make for some beautiful screenshots.

Fallout 4 Creation kit will be released early 2016 and as I'm a huge Fallout lover (even more than Elder Scrolls) all my modding efforts will be focused on creating F04 content.

This means I will not be making any huge changes or starting new projects for Skyrim unless there is a Creation Kit release delay announced. So Skogurheim is staying where it is (as much as I hate the location too)

I'm almost done with Skogurheim Hearthfire Edition. It will be the last major update I will make for Skogurheim.

Okay, good to know.... wait, you spent a week location-hunting to avoid conflict w/ other mods? (you, sir, are one considerate dude). If you ever do return to Skyrim again, I would suggest somewhere in the area between Lake Ilinalta & the Bleak Falls Barrow exit tunnel (beside the Dragon-Feeding-Grounds-area).

Anyway, hope to see more of your great work in Fallout 4

I will begin working on this mod again by early november. Unfortunatley Ive had horrible technical issues with my laptop and creation kit is crashing constantly. When i return home in november i will be able to use my desktop which has been far more stable. Top of my list for updates are hearthfire compatibility, vendor system, and junk barrels.

So maybe for your next play through you will have a perfect skogurheim.

Just wanted to echo most people's thoughts on how cool this mod is. I haven't seen any mods that display storage content dynamically like this. This feature in the alchemy lab and forge in particular is very immersive. Thanks!

So far my this is my favorite home!!! Endoresed and placed a vote

I reported a bug on the cloth switch from 1.2 that worked 50/50 and 1.2.2 does not  seem to work at all now? I have not changed any mods and just been doing quests during the upgrade.

OH... I thought about if it was possible to get random merchants going by that a player could encounter  to buy supplies from, not like fully stock like a cheat. I have plenty of gold and I make it a habit to buy any all of the craft supplies when going to whiterun blacksmith then slowly walk and dump it in my house for a rainy day. It be neat to walk out the door and catch a merchant asking if I am interested in any stuff that they have. either be a food merchant or a hunter or jeweler Kind of buy what they have that I can use for a rainy day without walking or riding back from a city.

Or have a house slave to say I need more ____ and let them randomly get amounts at the cities that they can get. LOL . or maybe me as the dragon born build a merchant store across the street and hire a merchant to buy sell my overstock from quests might be a better and easier fit to add  this way I can craft armor and place it in the merchant shop to sell to make money over time .

Thank you for endorsement and feedback. I had planned on making an npc add on that could buy and sell stuff for you, cut hair and change appearence, perform chores etc.

I was just thinking of the possibility of a servant npc to run a home. The weird angle of thou is it could be a devout follower of Azura who sometimes fortell the future for her followers. This person then combine this with a long term businesses idea: Run the dragonborn's household, help with organizing incoming priceless artifacts, write done your deeds done and so forth. The payoff comes when he/she opens the " Dragonborn museum" with all your stuff.
