Endorsed, gorgeous mod. Could you please make a standalone spell tome version of this mod instead of a replacer? Seeing necromancers casting holy wards doesn't fit together really well.
Agreed, it would be awesome to see different NPCs uses different types of wards. Necromancers and bad mages/witches using Evil (red) wards, Vigilants of Stendarr and priests using Holy (golden) wards, others using normal (blue) wards, and maybe the Archmage using Legendary (Purple) ward......
All of the screenshots are taken with ENB as well as the video. I don't know what is wrong with your ENB setup that it "doesn't work properly".
ENB settings make things look very different and if yours is set up in a way that makes this look weird, that doesn't mean this isn't working properly.
I dont like the idea of magic being a holy thing,i prefere magic more as an interior force fueld by your will and psychic power but yellow looks really pretty on them i am downloading !Really nice work!
Well magic is supposedly fueled by will, and innate ability. According to the wiki, the magic comes from Aetherius or whatever it's called, but the ability to channel the power comes from within the person. I think that the "holy" description and the reason for the coloring and such is that this is in the restoration school, right? Since priests and priestesses practice restoration magic, it is seen by most as "holy."
EDIT: I have been using PM for so long I don't remember original spell schools, but my wards are restoration at least
I wonder if you can also create a spell with the same effects as this texture but is offensive like expert destruction spell and call it "Lumina" with the same damage scale as your restoration level. A Ball of Light "same texture" and then when it reach the target it flashes and deals damage though it is not elemental but more like non-elemental damage. But either way this very cool! I love your mods
Does this mean you'll make a more sinister ward for the Conjuration Wards? great look btw, will Definitely download, even if I have no holy characters. just fits the restoration tree better!
I can't make the ward spell dark for those spells because it's using brightness as an alpha channel so as I try to make it more dark it will become more and more transparent, unfortunately. What I can do is make it a shade of conjuration-y blue. I'll make it sometime next day probably. I didn't intend to update that mod because conjuration wards don't make sense to me (which is why I made alteration wards, alteration makes more sense for that sort of thing). But since you mentioned it and it's relatively easy to do now when I know how the texture works, I'll do it.

nor do regular scripted mods (that do not require skse)
meshes however need to be converted
but yh this mod is strictly a retexture so you're good to go
