As I trudged along the road to Winterhold one clear day I noticed that it seems bitterly cold yet there was no sundog around the sun, so I made one.

The only issue I've found is that the sundog rotates as you bring the sun into or out of view. Also without the CK there isn't a way to disable it for when you're walking around in the more temperate regions.

This will work along with any other sky mods but will replace any that change the sun.dds file in the skyrim/data/textures/sky folder so back up your sun.dds before installing. All this mod does is replaces the sun texture so it will work with any sun flare mod.

Enjoy.

Installation - Place into your skyrim folder.

Uninstall - Delete the file skyrim\Data\textures\sky\sun.dds

I've added two more option packages for your pleasure.

The first is a realisitc sun with no sunglare for those of you that don't care for the invasive streaks.***This will replace any other sunflare or sun mod that you have, so back up your sunglare.dds and sun.dds before installing.***

The second is a realistic sun with a sunglare that mimics squinting. This file is still a work in progress since I'm not 100% happy with it. I just have to wait for a sunny day when I have a day off.***This will replace any other sunflare or sun mod that you have, so back up your sunglare.dds and sun.dds before installing.***
