Hey I appreciate you for thinking outside the box here. I really love the Knect man, but I just wish it had a proper shealth like the steel sword or the dragonbane katanna.
hehe so good mod but that a very strange name for a sword. But its not wrong thats not what i want to say. Its just that a Knecht is in germany, well at least today, a word you don't want to say to anyone. Today when you call someone a knecht its similar to a slave in english.
And also im not so sure but i think that 3rd little parry bar on the side has to be on the ohter side if you know how i mean this, like turning the sword 180°
Ah, yes, I do know what you mean, but the parry bar is on the correct side, according to the picture from which I drew inspiration. When I get around to working on the sword again, I will try to slide the sword along the Y-axis, though, so the parry bar won't clip through the scabbard.
I apologize about the name, though. I will try to change it to something a little less offensive and a little less Germanic, for sake of lore-friendliness.

Your handguard is on the right side. No idea what this guy is talking about. And Knecht comes from Landsknecht, the type of warrior that used this sword, so your'e good there too.
Its nice, texture could improve though, use an enviroment map and cubemap along with darker main texture and bright specular to make it look more reflective, other than that is looking good

You never see any messer swords in the Elder Scrolls games, I think they fit in perfectly!
