Thank you, i like the fact that you only create 1 lockpick with iron ingots, unlike others mods that you create 5 per ingot, i find this more balanced but if i have to say something negative, is that you gain a lot of experience per lockpick, anyways great mod, thank you. (commeting 4 years later :) )
Not a bad idea. Craftable lockpicks have already been done, but so has most everything else, lol. I don't think I've seen crafting from different metals before though, so bonus points for coming up with a truly new variation.
For what it's worth, what I would have done is make each material crate the same number of lockpicks, but make the other metals have less of a chance of breaking during a lockpick attempt. Reason being is that the ingots in the game appear to be just a bit smaller than a real world brick. Even a mediocre smith should be able to get 5 lockpicks from an ingot that size.
