You can also create an INI file with the same name as your mod with these lines, it will automatically overwrite the same settings. For example, if you mod's name is NockToTip.esp, then create an ini file called NockToTip.ini, with these lines, and put it in your DATA folder. That way, people do not have to go and modify their ini file.
If you chose not to port or update the mod, then so be it, it will be hilarious and well deserved when all the beyond skyrim mods come out on SE (as the authors have stated) and the majority of the skyrim community move over to play them and your mod slowly falls out of relevance and eventually dies like your reputation, also stop locking all the comment threads after you reply because you can't handle other people opinion, staying around in this comment section to defend yourself to no avail is an utter waste of your time, not that it would be put to good use any way.
Thanks again for proving my point, that you can't handle other peoples opinion and just decided to block people you disagree with, reported, a s#*! storm is going to invade this comment section.
I would ask for a DM as well but that may be tired by now, instead does someone have a link to a good tutorial where I can learn to port myself? I am on SE 1.5.97
One of the reasons I alternate between SE & LE on playthroughs. Nock to Tip is one of about 15 mods that are just superior... this. Warzones. even LotD. classic RND v1.x
As i prepare to shut down my AE playthrough.. thank you for the great mod.
love the mod and always respected the author's wish to not port it (it's probably his own way to protest to bethesda in releasing the game over and over gain) since you could always port it yourself but for some reason i can't seem to get the feathers via vendors or drops and at this point a lot of installed mods are starting to conflict with this mod so i finally decided to remove it in my load order (note i always get my feathers via console command and i always hated that part)
So I've just converted and installed this mod on my Skyrim SE. It was the first mod I have ever converted, and it was very simple to do. Learned it in 10 minutes on YouTube. For everyone that is asking for a SE version, just do it yourself. Seriously, it is very easy.
A question for those more experienced in modding:
Is there any way to deactivate the increased penetration by the arrow on the targets, done by this mod? That is the only change I am not a fan of and would like to revert.
I cannot make the Hotfix work though... it is flagged as redundant by Vortex. Does anyone know how to fix this? Neither loading it after nor before the Main Mod fixes it.
Or can I just use the Main mod without the Hotfix (without endangering my game)
Has anyone made a successful self-use port of this to SSE in which all base-game bows can be upgraded at the restring bench and the feathers drop in the loot table and/or can be purchased from vendors?
It would be nice if someone were to remake the mod for SSE. No porting it, just completely remake it. Unless one of the archery mods uploaded for SE/AE already have many of the features of this mod implemented in them...
Damn, I loved this mod back in LE, came here to check if it's gonna get a port, unfortunately, it seems that its author is unreasonable for some reason xD That really sux, I really liked this mod. Oh well.
I know this won't be ported so I'm just gonna give it a try here: anyone knows of another mod that improves arrow and bolt penetration? It's the only thing I'm after. I know it's a long shot (pun totally intended) but I've been looking to no avail.

v.429 contained a packing error in the .BSA
v.430 fixes it
v.430b adds all content from Bryte'Ned Longbows mod to N2T
For example, if you mod's name is NockToTip.esp, then create an ini file called NockToTip.ini, with these lines, and put it in your DATA folder. That way, people do not have to go and modify their ini file.
Install the mod, then the patch.
Please and thank you.

Thanks for making it at least.
