The "belongs to the nords" doesn't have to be much of a lore break. There are redguards living in Skyrim and as such most likely the opposite as well. Thus this could simply be a formerly uninhabited island that some nord found a safe passage to and then started a colony there. When I played Morrowind I saw a colony of nords in Dagen Fel, an island north of Vvardenfell. As such they where an ethnic minority of nords in the then imperial province of Morrowind, the homeland of the dunmer. I understood it that they where descendants of a failed invasion force in some ancient war or maybe just settlers from Skyrim. Apparently the dunmer doesn't mind them since they where not much for living in that harsh cold place anyway. As such, the authorities in Hammerfel could tolerate the presence of a small nord colony as long as they pay their taxes and cause no trouble.
Also what would help is if some mod reviewer reviews this on YouTube, that way word of this mod will reach him, not instantly (of course) but the presence of a mod especially made for Gopher will get curious enough to look for it.
It doesn't have an 'official' library, no. Theres a lot of books in the cabin though. I may make another building on there somewhere that will be just books. Thats a good idea!
It looks cool, from what I can see in the images. Some more images of the house, and the interior would be nice to see. Is it all navmeshed for followers? And can that broken bridge high in the trees be fixed once you get there?
Most of it is navmeshed, I need to go back and fix a lot of it though. Also the cave might not be navmeshed... The bridge is supposed to be like that. It's an old, deserted sacred island. It's not really supposed to be fixed up.
Very nice! As a "retirement home" its got all one would want but very sparse. The Temple of Kynareth turned into a "green house" is a cute idea! However I would have made THAT the "house" ! It would just stand to reason the Dragonborn would have amassed enough money and resources to afford a "comfortable" retirement home! The island is excellent! I can understand you "landscape" ability, you have an eye for it. Keep up the good work. I think you have great potential with this mod, it just needs to be "fleshed out" a bit more. I like the boat to the island, idea...very neat, and in a good location!
Thanks! There are actually reasons why the temple is a greenhouse rather then the actual house. It's part of the quest that will be associated with this mod someday. Also, I like to play subtle, un-godlike characters, so this felt more realistic.
