    I think dwarven metal is bronze and corundum is copper.

      What's weird is that corundum is a real thing and has no similarities to Skyrim corundum. I wish they had just called it copper, or something else altogether! Wiki article if you're curious: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corundum

      To be chemically correct, it should be CARBON, since that is what you use with iron to get steel.

      Yep. And likewise, malachite in real life is a fancy green rock, and in Skyrim, it's a green metal. And moonstone in real life is a precious gem, while in Skyrim, it's a type of metal that looks like butter.

      New mod idea: allow use of moonstone in the butter churn & in cheese making. Cheesemaking is a thing, right? I don't do much cooking.
