Isn't this just exactly the same joke (but less subtle) as 'Give Me Money For No Reason' ? I think you missed that Beth is a real name and she was sitting on a valve. She also looked very well off because Valve and Bethesda are doing quite well right now in terms of money and now they want more money. The fact that yours is a dirty dog with a made up name kind of ruins the subtlety of it.
