This is so cute. I just have a few questions if you don't mind. I am an inspiring modder and have been creating my own house but I don't want to actually put it in the game until I know for sure that this will work. So, question number one: Does the interior of the house have to match the exterior? If I wanted a small cottage for the exterior could I say for the interior something like dragonsreach? Without the interior coming through the walls? Second, did you use nifskope to texture the house like that or is there a way I can do it in creativekit? And thirdly, I love millhouses and I want a waterwheel behind my house sort of like it was attached, but the large pole will undoubtedly have to go into the house, will I see it when I walk in? Thank you.
Not sure what the problem is, but until I can fix it I uploaded a new file without the .bsa archive, with the standard folder structure and .esp. Hopefully this helps!
Now I have house but a lot of the activators are missing. Can't sit use book shelves or use the storages except for the b2 chests and the desk. Question in the bedroom is there furniture on the wall across from the bed? If so it went awol. Modding is alearning experiance......
The house in the pictures looks amazing, but in game.. it's not even showing up to me. I see a door, and I see a smelter. That's pretty much it. Not sure if it's me, or the house. When I opened the door I fell through the world.. that was fun!
Same problem. Nexus downloads was messing up on some files about the time I downloaded this? I am uploading some screen shots (reduced in size). Oh, what should the size of the download be, that might give a clue if it was a download problem, because it seems to have worked for some people. So SORRY. The inside picture looked like it didn't update, so I submitted it again. Enigma please delete the extra one, since Nexus won't let me do it.
problem is PinefallsCottage.bsa archive To fix problem use "BSA Browser" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59553/? open PinefallsCottage.bsa with BSA Browser then press Extract all, Make New Folder in Desktop and hit ok copy meshes and textures and paste to your Skyrim Data folder.
I re-packed the file (should be around 40-point-something MBs unpacked with BSA) and tweaked the lighting. Hopefully that works, otherwise I'll take a look in a few days when I'm back. (Though if anyone more experienced than myself wants to take a look at it in the Creation Kit they're welcome to, this is a pretty open-source mod.)
I have the same problem as "cutelogic". I cant see the house mesh. its gone for some reason, only dores and some others stuff are there, do you know why, and how could i fix it, becouse the house from your pictures look really nice
No idea. Some problem with the mesh paths, maybe? Or the Skyrim directory? I'm not sure of the technical mechanics of installation, maybe try manually extracting and installing? Sorry I'm not more help!
failure to name something the house-exterior or the door to it will cause this. only way to know is for the author to check everything or try fixing it in the ck. I also have the smithy door andpart of the chimney.
