Does this work with non-SE versions? I have the original LE, and was afraid to use Okiir's mod because it had SE in the file name. I thought it could cause problems in my game.

This was made before Skyrim had a LE I think.
So technically it is a non-SE version.

Do you have to have the original mod for this to work?

Hello, is the Huntsman Bow temperable? I tried using a grindstone with it in my inventory, but didn't appear in the menu.
In case it isn't improvable, how can I edit the mod (by creating a patch, I guess) using TES5Edit?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

There is no note for me on the table. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall mod several times the NMM but I get nothing. When I install the old mod, it works fine. Any ideas?

I've found the note inside the cabin, near the strongbox. Weird place to put it.

Hey, are you planning on porting the mod to SSE?

Any way to make it so we can choose to have the baking oven or not? I know this game is like 10 years old but i dont own the dlcs and I absolutely need these major tweaks to the house in my game.

      You're welcome.
Glad this version is still getting an occasional download/endorsement even with the minor changes from the original.

For some reason, upon exiting the cabin I am stuck in the porch.

I never had that happen so I don't have any idea what could cause it.

Nice to see that location once again.

The original Hunter's Cabin mod was my first custom player house, which i ever used (short after i started to play Skyrim).
Long uninstalled - not just because it wasn't nice and good (the contrary is the case), but because i changed my player's style, ie. no early (custom) houses prior to becoming Thane of Whiterun and having purchased Breezehome.

I might give it a new try with your done customisation, but merely with a kind of special usage: A follower's house (ie. Ysgrette, which i "grabbed" as first follower, nearly at the position of the Hunter's Cabin).

Hope, the house is follower-friendly ... question: Is the bed provided with player's ownership or no?

Anyways, will download and try, and endorse later when positively tried in-game.

Hi, thanks for trying the mod.
Yes, the followers move unobstructed around the house.
About the bed. I actually never bothered to look into that because I haven't had any problems with it in my game. lol The original did not give a well rested bonus and I didn't think it mattered much to change that as well.

Just some info for players who possibly use houses for followers as well, how i do it and/or what i use, ie. that followers use whatsoever owned beds (ie. player bed):

      Follower daily routine management:
      - MHIYH by sLoPpYdOtBiGhOlE (i use 4.0, he updated in the meantime to 4.1), for daily follower shedules, when dismissed. Link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64106/? ... besides many daily follower-action, one can assign beds or any sleeping-places to followers.

      Follower bed management, rather tweak-action:
      - console command: addfac f2073 1
-> open console, click on the follower (be sure, that no other item is activated, but the follower), write the said command, enter, play on (it's instantly active).
This provides, that the according follower will use also player-masterbeds in whatever house (normally, works always with vanilla-houses, there might be exceptions with some custom houses). Double-beds become useful, ie. two followers or just player and follower can use it.

For me, that console command is the easiest solution for bed-usage issues with followers in houses.
It works with every of my followers in my current playthrough, with Breezehome, another custom house in the outskirts of Whiterun, and the Hunter's Cabin mod from this page.
Not recommended for Housecarls, as they normally have a working bed-usage AI for respective houses.

Alternative concerning console command: clearownership ... (pointed on the according bed, of course), but i find that somehow risky and usually do not use that. Might be senseful for foreign-owned beds though.

      Further follower related tipps:

Another very excellent mod, which expands npc-action in cells (in my experience: in- and exterior), calls Multiple Floors Sandboxing, link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57376/? (imo. kind a must-have)

For the usual follower managment, i use:
Simple Multiple Followers (SMF), by kurtee ... this i find superior to all other follower management mods (ie. after i used AFT for a long time).

Nice info there. Thanks for taking the time to write it up.
I'm sure it will come in handy to some people that might stumble upon this page.

As for follower bed-usages, the item is really tricky in my experience, especially in custom homes.

There is a fine working mod which can help with additional craftable "beds": Craftable and Placeable Havok-enabled Bedrolls (its esp name, have that in usage for a long time).

Back to topic, Hunter's Cabin surounding area:
I experience, that followers have quite some obstruct barriers at the front and sides, especially the sides. When you leave southwards, followers run around the house instead of going the straight way, also approaching from south is tricky for them ... just mentioning it. There are tree pieces on the way (south side), i assume, which are responsible.
This bit is the only issue i could find with this location.

Yeah, the navigation was like that originally. I improved it a by a very small amount, but I'm not knowledgable enough with CK and navmeshing to make it any better.
If anyone had the original version so far and overwritten witht this one, they would see a slight improvement but not much. The only difference outside is that the followers go up and down the stairs more than before but still not everytime.
I noticed they find their way a bit better since I installed FLP.

The more noticable improvement is inside. They seem to be able to sandbox around the whole place and interact with everything.

Sorry I can't make it any better. Like I said in the front page, I'm not a real modder. I just tried to make this to suit my needs regarding features and lighting, and after a long time I was able to with tutorials on youtube. And since it worked out good enough to be presentable I thought I upload it for anyone else that might be after something similar seeing as how hunterborn and other survival mods are very popular.

      Thanks for the feedback. =)

The location works excellent, npc-wise, the above point is the only little issue, really.

Once more (from above), for the npc-sandboxing ammendment:
Another very excellent mod, which expands npc-action in cells (in my experience: in- and exterior), calls Multiple Floors Sandboxing, link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57376/? (imo. kind a must-have)

Highly, highly recommended for everybody who has not installed it as of yet. It is compatible with everything.

Follower management plugin, here the above mentioned SMF is imo. superior to all other such mods, especially in regard of sandboxing aka npc-AI unleashed (configurable with MCM).
