Pro: It can work with SSE via manual install Con: It doesn't benefit from Conjuration perks, namely Twin Souls, and their death results in an unlootable ash pile, and they don't seem to follow you when you exit one cell and enter another.
After testing with Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim, I discovered that the spell used to summon Wisp Mother. is not treated as a summon by the game engine, meaning that items/spells/perks/etc that normally deal with summons do not affect this spell.
Example: in Ordinator, there's a perk called Edge of Oblivion, that grants you an additional summon limit increase, but reduces your armor and magic resist if you do not have a summoned/reanimated minion, this spell does not prevent that debuff.
Just mentioning it, perhaps there's a way to add new keywords to the spell in the Creation Kit to make the game treat it as a summon?
Seeing where this is located it probably conflicts with Interesting NPC and the quest where you help (or not) transform some confused chick into a hagraven. Or is it perhaps ok? Surely someone has tried it, no?
I'm sorry, I haven't tried it. I only used that mod once for a short playthrough to try it out, it was an awesome mod, but the way I add so many scripted mods to my game on a regular basis, that one can cause problems, not directly because of it, but because of the sheer number of modded scripts running. So unfortunately I can't answer that for you, I hope that someone else will though, but to be honest, the best way to find out for sure is to try it yourself. If you do, then please come back to let us know how it worked out (or didn't). Thank you for trying my mod, and I hope that you enjoy it =)
Nope, I just tested this out, the cave were the Spell book is is nowhere near any of the Interesting NPC quest locations! And none of them have been overwritten as far as I can tell.
I like this mod and use it always. But i have a question for u . When i summon Wisp Mother , when she turn back to Oblivion ? For example every summon creature has a time limit, but her nope.
She stays for 1 hour with main file. I've uploaded an alternate version in optional files that only last for 5 mins if you prefer a shorter summon time. You can find the second tome in the same spot as the first one, right next to it. Thank you for your comment, I had forgotten that the summon lasted that long. I should have offered this version long ago. I'm glad you enjoyed the mod =)
I see, sorry about that, I didn't think this spot would interfere with with many other mods, but considering that there's about 100k mods out there, it was probable that there would be one or two. You can still use the CC to get the spell, and if you downloaded the first version, there was a copy for sale at the riverwood trader. That's where I originally put the spell tome to test it, and I forgot to remove it when I posted the first version lol. She's a bit stronger in the first version, which I changed and removed the riverwood tome in the later version.
also sorry I took so long to reply to this post, I missed it somehow between the others.
I'm happy to see so many of you downloading this =)
I've found out that there is a copy of the book for sale in the Riverwood Trader. This was where I put the book for testing purposes, and forgot about that copy. I apologize for the oversight, and it will be fixed in an upcoming update. I will also be looking into fixing the piles left behind by the wisp mother if she is killed, again, I thought I had that fixed so sorry about that. And I will be looking into her AI, and see if I can force her to use her other spells more often. I even created a special one just for her to summon an ice wraith, turning one summon into two. But she barely uses it.
Just throwing this stuff out there, please continue to enjoy the mod, and thanks for the endorsements =)
Thanks for pointing that out, another summon wisp spell.
I created this one for myself as well, because I wanted her to be unique and have more spell options. The idea was to have her heal me and summon her own ice wraith.. so that's what I made. I just thought others might like it to, so after a few months, I posted it here.
