Is it possible for me to edit this mod to reorder the topics? If so, how, I tried editing the priority in xedit but it didn't seem to do anything. edit: I needed to edit what was under the "greetings" topic, not the topics themselves.
Has anyone come across a master alchemy trainer using the "train" option? Because so far I've been getting a lot of 2 handed trainers. How does the mod determine which skill you'll be trained in?
Looking at sirsal_quest_script with what little knowledge I have, it looks like it checks to see if the NPC's highest skill is greater than 50. Then it checks if it reaches the 50, 75 and 100 benchmarks for common, expert and master training, so you'd need to find an NPC with 100 in alchemy for them to be a master trainer.
...That said, my experiences don't line up with those expectations at all. I frequently receive training in stats that are really low on NPCs, like master two handed training from people with less than 20 levels in two handed and 30-40 in other skills. To add on to the confusion, in SSEEdit some of the 'sirsal_class' properties link to unrelated trainers. Like 'sirsal_class_alchemy_ex' which links up to an expert Alteration trainer. Most match up however, and this isn't the cause of what I'm experiencing. |:
I'd be grateful if anyone could explain what's going on.
How can I change the amount of speechcraft experience I gain with "Greetings"? I coudn't figure that out (I can't find it in TES5Edit and I'm a beginner with the CK).
Edit: I removed the sirsal_sf_speechcraft_initial script from the dialogue in the CK and it seems to work. The speech bonus is not reduced but removed, but it's something...
This is an old post, but for anyone else wondering about this... The speechcraft gains are in multiple scripts using the "game.AdvanceSkill("speechcraft", <amount>)" function. If you use Champollion to decompile the scripts, you can search in the scripts to find the lines and change the amounts, then recompile.
