Wooh, finally. I have been bouncing from sorting mod to mod, each one having a link to another sorting mod that is slightly different. But then, I see this link. THANK YOU SO MUCH

I thank Talos that you exist..
After nearly 4 years there is not even one mod out there, renameing !all! vanilla items. I dont have OCD, but I like to have my s#*! organized.. Especially armors and weapons.. ASM does a good to great job, but.. you know why you are doing this mod
I really hope, you get that going with TES5Edit and the semi-automated script you discussed with VulcanoTourist.

So, I just want to give you some input. You may find it stupid or not.
What I am curious about is the [W] before Weapons and [A] before armor, respective why is there no [P] before Potions? your way makes sense in the "All" section of the inventory, but when you are in the armory section you dont need it. I dont know if it is possible; but can you make that [?] "fade" away when in the specific section? Or maybe just leave it? I think it is "sorted" enough with the specific terms after it. Then there is the funtioon of Sky UI to sort your stuff by Type, so..

I dont see any unique weapons, do you rename them too? Would be great Maybe with a own post-prefix like "Sword - Unique - Dawnbreaker" or "Sword - Daedric - Dawnbreaker".

Then in Jewels section.. In your posted image the enchanted rings or necklaces are seperated through unenchanted. Thats rather unsorted :/ Can you fix that? And can you make it compatible with Unlimited Jewelry for Dawnguard and Dragonborn? that would be great Because UNlimited rings and amulets overwrites all the name changes from ASM, and thats bullshit :/

For the Potions: "Health" before all the restore and regenerate stuff makes sense, but before the poisons? Also "Magicka -- Resist" should be listed where all other Resist potions are. Its just my opinion "Skill boost" instead of Fortify is a great idea
Then why is mead misc but wine with similar effect a drink? They are both drinks and not potions.

Sorry for my bad english if you can not understand my writings..

I really hope you continue and finish this work I would really like to help you, but at the moment there is not much time for me to play Skyrim or to get involved in TES5Edit..

    Best regards

Hello there, my friend! First at all, thank you so much for your kind words.

About the Jewelry, Unique and other enchanted weapons/armors, to be honest i haven't finished the game yet... i am on the "Visit the Greybeards" mission and i dont know exactly if these items are Quest items (items you can't drop), Unique or god knows which other kind of weapon could exist and i haven't seen yet. That was the reason i decided to leave them untouch, so you can find them always at the end of the list without any prefix.

On the Jewelry i didnt want to place any kind of prefix for enchanted or not because when you enchant a new jewelry, you can name it, so... if you enchant a ring, you can add any name you want, for example: [J] Ring - Fire or [J] Enchanted Ring - Fire. For those enchanted items you see on the picture, they are unique or at least, uncraftable (Kyne's Token). They werent created by me, they just exist on the game. And for this reason, the same that above, i decided to keep it simple. You can always click the sort by "Enchanted" on the UI.

Another big reason i didnt want to alter the names of the weapons and armor was because it would make them too damn long. If i added something like, lets say... [Weapon] GreatSword - SkyForge Steel *Enchanted *Frost", 90% of the items would have unfinished names on the screen, you would overlap with other columns of the SkyUI.

About Potions, you never mentioned it, but by your answer i supose you already saw my other mod "YASM - Potions". For potions i use [M] referring to Medicine (intead potions) to all potions with positive effects and i use [P] for all Poisons for all potions with negative effects. I agree with 90% of you suggestions. As a matter of fact, i did struggle a lot when i made these changes, it was pretty hard to organize in a good way, sometimes i spent hours just on my head thinking, not doing anything, just thinking the best possible way. I guess it wasn't xd.

I am not speaking defensively, i dont want to sound like a smartass.. because i am not. I really liked all your suggestions and i would like one of these days to actually make them real. I hope some day.... sooome day (if no one has already done it by then) i could fix these "problems".

It is not hard to do, in fact is very easy. But the problem is to find the time to do it. Today i have full time work and i work from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The few time i have i rather prefer to spend it with my wife and kid or playing other casual games which i can play for short time and not commiting hundreds of hours like Skyrim, xd.

I repeat, i liked all your suggestions and i will do it some day, probably when i have vacations (holidays).

Have a nice day and thank you for your comment.

got a problem with your mod, it only sorts a few armor and weapons. At first I thought it didn't like custom armor/weapons (since I run immersive armor and weapons mods) till I did a search of them in console and turned up to be a 000xxxxxx id, so they were vanilla items. I am do not know if it is a problem with the mod itself or my install order, I us MO and don't see any conflicts with this mod, and I've also ran loot to set loadorder. Here is a couple screen shots that shows what i'm talking about.

some items are effected by mod, while most are not.

    EDIT-------------------------------
Was a load order problem, for some reason Loot places this mod way up around #33 for me (out of 115 or so esp's), when I manually dropped it down to bottom of load order it works fine. But that shouldn't matter where in loadorder this mod is placed, it should work regardless.

The next time you run LOOT, however, it will move it back into that erroneous position. Now that you've established that order is an issue for it, try moving it back up the load order until (if) you see the same issue again, then drop it one further down the list. Then note the mods immediately above and below it. Reenter LOOT and use the options for this mod to configure a LOOT user rule "Load After" to force it to load after the mod ESP immediately above it. That rule might need to change if your list of mods changes later.
