EDIT: little suggestion, if you want to play it as any other race (Except khajiit and argonian ofc) you can, ive had my Breton mage preset transfered to my redguard warrior and it works just fine. Cheers
If you have the preset placed it the right directory (as it says in the description), you simply start a new game, choose race (woodelf), choose gender (female), then go to the tab 'presets'... Press F5 'load presets', click on the Lavena.jslot and you will have your Woodelf. Not sure she will look like in the pictures this way though, since she will probably have Woodelf characteristics. Nords, Imperials, Bretons are human, Vampires human-like, Elfs are Elfs with longer, smaller faces, pointy ears. Anyway, hope this works! Let me know...
Have you ever saved one of your own characters as a preset? If you did, the directory should be there...
C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen\Presets... is my directory where the characters are saved as presets and can be loaded from. If you don't have this folder, but you have racemenu (latest version), you can try save one of your own characters as preset. When in racemenu, select 3rd tab top right and press F5 I believe to save your character. If you have saved your own character, exit Skyrim and see if the directory is there. When you have the directory, simply drag and drop the unzipped Lavena.jslot to that directory... Start Skyrim again, showracemenu, 3rd tab top right, press F9 and you now should be able to select the Lavena-preset...
If you still don't have the CharGen\Presets directory, I am not sure what is wrong...

I saved my caracter as a preset and the CharGen/Presets still doesn't show up. I had to change the buttons of the save and load so does that might affect? But when i save it does show CharGen/Presets but when i go in the files but they are not there. I Will try to install ewerything else because some files are missing from CharGen. So i might need to reinstall those files but i don't know which are those files and i can't find the place to load if from.
I really can't think of what is wrong... If your Racemenu and SKSE are up to date, it should work, provided you have all the other mods running as mentioned. I can't replay your problem, since I have no clue of what your set-up is. I have the mods as mentioned on the description running, and she shows-up in my presets when I follow the instructions as mentioned on the installation-description...
All I can do is run some questions by you and see if there is a problem to be found. Not sure you are experienced with modding Skyrim, so forgive me the next two questions when they are obvious and already checked by you...
You do have SKSE running and are using skse_loader.exe to start Skyrim; You are using NMM and have installed Racemenu that way;
These are the two things that might cause/solve the problem... can't think of anything else at the moment anyway. Otherwise I will have to ask around, but I am not sure I know someone who would have an immediate answer.
Yes im using skse_loader.exe and i installed Race menu trought NMM i got ewery single mod required and my race menu and skse are up to date so yea i really don't know.
Have you tried installing Racemenu Loose Base Scripts 3-1-0? (it will say there is another version of Racemenu present, just press no and install as new)
Hello, It's me again. After some time of trying to find chargen or make it work i found that when i go under Steam/Common/Skyrim/Data/Meshes i see a map name CharacterMakingExtender. When i open it i see 2 maps that are named CommonTriRaces and Presets i open the presets map and this is what i see:
But i have ECE and RaceMenu both enabled so might that be the problem too? When im in the RaceMenu and go under presets it says CharGen Presets unavailable.
To my knowledge, ECE and Racemenu can't be used at the same time. Either you use ECE or you use Racemenu is what I was told. As I have started my game with Racemenu this time, the preset I made was done using Racemenu, so I guess it might be the problem yes. Best read the description for ECE and Racemenu to be entirely sure, but I think it's not compatible...
Thank you for telling me i'm using RaceMenu now i disabled ECE. For some reason i still don't have Chargen and my RaceMenu keeps showing me when i got under presets that chargen preset Unavaible so thanks agains and i hope i ain't wasting your time.
Not sure, as I have Racemenu installed and not ECE... But perhaps you will have to delete both mods, so not just uninstall, but delete after uninstalling, then re-download Racemenu, Racemenu Loose Basescripts and Racemenu-overlays plugin (install in that order). When you have done all that, start a entirely new game and see if it works now... Not sure you can then still use old saves, since you have uninstalled ECE and the characters you have made before will probably look different...
Another question, do you use programs as LOOT and TES5Edit?
She's gorgeous. I don't really use all the things that you need to make her work, but sometimes I download these just to see what they look like with my mods.
Best way to use is unzip it to a seperate folder and then move (drag and drop) the lavena.jslot file to the directory as stated in the descprition... Make sure your Racemenu is up to date too! (using v3).

The file is okay... just tested it. It's probably your unzipping software then? Try Bandizip or something... You CAN'T use NMM!

Sorry to hear Jalapeno... have you unzipped the file? I mean, you can't use NMM... You have to manually put the unzipped-file (lavena.jslot) into the right directory (\Skyrim\ Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen\Presets)... Then, when you are in racemenu, you should be able to go to preset and load her... I have tested her several times as have other people, If you have done it all right it should work.
yeah I've unzipped the file and I've manually put it in (\Skyrim\ Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen\Presets. Then I Selected the Nord Race and then looked for the slide option "preset slot and the I selected the slot 0 and pressed F9. Is it because its a .jslot? because when i used the this saved game http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52800/? which is a regular .SLOT file it, The race menu found it. and i have all of the requirements that the Lavena needs
You can use her, but she has some overlays from Better Makeup for SKSE and also from Freckle Mania... If you know how to turn those off in the Racemenu, you will be fine I guess. Overlays from Freckle Mania are on the whole body, so you need to check multiple tabs! If you are already using those mods, you should be fine I think...
Not sure I will be doing her for ECE since my set-up is with Racemenu... yet! With NMM 0.60.0 coming-up, allowing you to use multiple set-ups, I might give it a try to convert her for ECE.
Follower mod is under discussion, I need help from some experienced modder who has done it before, since my modding skills are zero...
