If you want to change the dark distant objects follow the instructions: 1.- In game open the ENB Widget with "Shift+Enter" 2.- Go to the box "ENVIROMENT" and open it. 3.- Navigate to the next parameters: FogColorMultiplierXXX and FogColorCurveXXX. (Each one have different values for different places and times like sunrise, sunset, night, interios day and interios night) 4.- Tweak them to you own taste, by default they are set to 1.0, you can put them 1.0 and start to modify. 5.- When you done remember to save your changes on the top of the ENB Widget, if you do not save they will reset the next time you enter the game.
Hi, the reason this caught my eye is that I use URWL. I have never installed ENB, so I am taking this real slow, do not want to mess up my game again for the thousandth time. My only question is that I use a pair of GTX 560 in SLI. Do you think that that will be ok rather than a GTX 560 TI. I have no idea how the configuration compares.
Hello there, welcome to the amazing world of ENB xD... And thank you for try my preset. About your question on the performance with 560 SLI, I think that configuration should be enough for run the game with this basic ENB config.
This enb changed the whole game for me. I've done so many playthroughs of Skyrim (almost 2000 hours lol) and used several enbs but this is by far my favorite. I actually LOVE the dark mountains. They add so much drama to the landscape. My homebase is around Riften and the dark mountains contrasting with the lake and yellow birches is absolutely stunning. I'm actually walking around just staring at the landscape like I did the first time I played . Everything seems new again. I'll be using this for all my playthroughs - thank you so much!
Hi guys, I love the enb, it really does give great performance and plan on keeping it permanently. I only have one small niggle... Mountains and similar large objects in the distance are always really dark, to the point where they are almost black - even on the sunniest of days. Now I don't know a ton about modding, despite doing it for a few years; but I do know that it isn't a conflict or anything caused by other mods, because disabling the enb effect turns them back to the normal colour... Is anyone else having this problem? Or have a fix? Thanks guys
Hi there thanks for give a chante to 560enb, Yes maybe distant objects are a little dark even in day, but thats how its was designed. Right now im working on another ENB configuration for a more colorful and brightest atmosphere and based on the game original weather and light engine, and of course with the high performance as flag.
Okay so i finally got around to using this and i gotta say man this is some good stuff. On my gtx 760 2gb oc and i7_4790k i get 55-60 fps almost everywhere. The actual performance for its quality is pretty damn good.
With that rig I think you can get 45+ maybe 50+ fps almost everywhere, for indoors im sure you will reach 60fps with no problem. Remember, thats always depend on another mods, not only the ENB, with ultra HD textures, high dense grass or tree mods you can easily kill your fps to -30.
If you have in mind some 4k textures I recomend use this: "Otimizer Textures" by apipino http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801/?
thanks. The only performance heavy mod i use is Verdant for some good grasses but it only drops me to about 50 fps outdoors with some enbs i use. I dont have it cranked up just for that reason.
I'm also using elderly PC components ( in tech years I suppose ). The ol' 2500K and Gtx660 have been overclocked to the limit. One important thing to note, is that I have a 1920x1080 monitor but rarely use it above 1600x900 while an ENB config is installed. Downscaling saves 10-30fps and leaves image clarity intact with minimal aliasing. Second best option or in combination, is to set shadow resolution as low as can be tolerated, or in my case off.
So I'm always trying out people's vision of Skyrim through the use of ENB, can't wait to give this one a try now! Thanks for sharing the config, I'll post some screenshots soon.
Yes playing in 1600x900 instead of 1920x1080 help to keep some fps. In my case playing at 1366x768 its fps 50+ almost everywhere, but is always nice to say you can decently play at 1080 xD
And About shadow´s resolution i have mine set to 1024, is still nice and not too much demanding.
Thanks for use 560enb and sharing your screens bro, hope you enjoy it.
