Is this mod easy to port to SE?

Let me know when you do so. I'd like it for SSE as well

Just in case anyone still needs it, it has been ported to SSE, just search for "The Pursuers"

Great mod but the Pursuers stop appearing after a few days. Reinstalling the mod helps, but this is already the third time I am doing it

Does anyone know if this is supposed to happen? Is a reload necessary or do they eventually show up again?

kudos to the creator and thank you to the one who uploaded this mod. This mod has literally been integral into my skyrim gameplay, and I have had a lot fun with it lol. just the 4 main enemies I've always seen in my game have been challenges, they were funny to see fight each other, the way they changed my game was wacky, bizarre, challenging in combat and stealth, and I really appreciate the way the mod is as of now. It added humor, wackiness, challenge and tough fights in my playthroughs, and for that I really thank the creator for the mod and as well as the one for uploading it and being able to share it. thanks to both of you for this mod and my experience with it.

So do these guys have the capability to catch a player suddenly in the wilderness without waiting, sleeping fast travel, or load screen first? If so, I would be interested to know how you accomplished that.

The files are already in the main game. Check out the Hired Thugs, who come after you for stealing.

I was working on a mod similar to this and that is how I utilized it.

Pursue seems to do it the same, without the Sandboxfallthrough though on the Hired Thugs. I wonder what that'll do to the behavior?

It's a really interesting solution, though some of the NPCs may be too strong my liking. I was trying to create an Alternate Start plug-in where you're hunted early off in the game in a Kill Bill scenario by a series of unique assassins, that only lasts for levels 1-20, with moments of respite -- so it isn't a constant annoyance.

Yeah, I returned to it and managed to get it working smoothly. I'm just adding some basebone OPEN ENDED plot material to the various members, to give the player an idea who is next to come and what they may do. I don't want to totally dictate the plot, this allows it to be used by various players and various mod configurations. Suggested use is Alternate Start, but you could theoretically use it anywhere.

The assassins so far are at least 2x the players level, while also using various shouts. I'll have to do more testing to see how the AI handles them, see if I like how the assassins work. As seen here, they show up every three levels. From level 2-20. These should be fun and exciting fights, but I think it may be an easier experience when compared to The Pursuers. Or if people really want to get hounded, they might compound both mods upon each other.

I've been working on and off on a mod that uses Terry Goodkind's "quads" from Wizard's First Rule. It would be much the same as your "moments of respite" (it makes sense that after a time, if the current "quad" doesn't return, then others would have to be dispatched, and then find the PC).

So Ravelen! You are the one behind "The Sinister 7"!
I LOVE IT! Thank you very much!

After i finished it, i had to reinstall it, so i could get to fight them all over again. :P

    I just love it.

I also have "The witching hour" and "The Sinister seven", which also add enemies that can attack you anywhere, just like "The pursuers".
For more i also added "More thugs for petty crimes" and another that makes the bounty collector appear 100% of the time you have over 1000 bounty.

The pursuers needs polishing, but its still endorse worthy. ;)

IF YOU GUYS KNOW OF MORE MODS LIKE THIS, PLEASE SHARE REPLYING THIS THREAD.

I'd like to become a pursuer. The idea of living forever and even resurrection post own death is intriguing. That is not a curse, it's a great blessing. The vampires bid their souls to a deadric lord, these beings however retain independence. They're nords with pale skin; that would seem even more fitting, as my character looks just like that. Will this mod be ported to Special Edition and are you planning on adding an option for the PC to become a Pursuer?

Downloading! So these guys can spawn anywhere? Even player-owned locations, and locations added by mods?

They have set spawn locations, most of which are in the middle of nowhere. I might be wrong, but as long as there is pathing to get to a place added by a mod they should be able to get to you. They'll follow you into your house too, nasty thing to wake up to. Try to keep at least one eye open at all times.

This appears to be very close to what I was looking for! Question: Are there a set number of npc's that track you down, or do they spawn multiple times/infinitely?

Very interesting, but need more ingame involving. some books(level or actions(main quest, etc) that makes them appear. Need storyline about how to cancel their curse and stop to hunting player.
