I'm currently playing a no-magic samurai run and so far I'm loving this mod. I also have a copy of Skyrim SE as well and just wondering if you or anyone talented with mods could port this?
Thanks! Personally I think it's garbage because of the way I put it together. No plans on a DSR patch, in fact, I've pretty much abandoned this mod. I think it's actually easy to do, if I remember right, it's just really time consuming to do. You have to go to the meshes and essentially duplicate them and rename them so that DSR picks up the Left handed weapon.
Problem with the Sun Katana. I have the Necromage perk, but I can't seem to find WHERE to craft it. No Forge has it listed. I see all the others to craft there, but can't fine the Sun Katana. What am I missing? Is it forged / crafted some other way?
I'm going to have to double check the requirements, but you should need Necromage, Arcane Smithing, Elven or Daedric smithing, and I think maybe Advanced Smithing. Then the ingredients should involve a Sun Fire Spell Tome and one regular Fudou Myouou Katana/Tachi.
*edit: The eyes are Mikan eyes and the hair is the pony-tail HDT mod
And don't ask about what armor because I don't even know. It's a mix mash of things I DL'd and installed. I can tell you that the shirt is from the Temptress race and the pants are from Princess of the woods.
I noticed in your screen shots you have DawnBraker that deals 77 points of damage but your Katana only has 38 points of damage even with 5 elements. I would have to assume your smithing perks are low and this sword would be better IF you had higher smithing perks??? I have found the higher your damage points (regardless of added arcane eleiments) the quicker the kills. I assume this weapon was meant to be NOT overpowered?
