Should be compatible with all DLC All mods as far as I am aware of. This is so a user of bows on the specific faction they will have 50% chance of getting a crossbow. If the Archer does not have a crossbow they will have the regular bow and arrows.
Please note that the last fle on the bottom has all the files from the three factions. It was just my first upload and I made a mistake the last file you will have to open until you see the esp I know it was my first upload and I was trying to upload the mods seperatly but accidently uploaded all 3 in same folder my mistake. The bottom file pretty uch is the same thing but includes all factions. It also combines them so if your using mcm in the mods folder it will take 1 space but they are not combined so it will take 3 of your plugin slots. I reccomend installing the seperate files. Also if your new to modding/uploading I reccomend watching gophers videos on youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/GophersVids he will show you how to upload and install as-well as preview. He just does not go and blah blah blah finished he takes his time and explains things thoroughly. Each of his videos are on average 20 to 26 miutes long. @Sukor Hum... Good idea but, why don't you make a real lore frendly mod by just adding a chance (lets say around 15 - 20 %) for ALL npc's who normally would have a bow to have a crossbow instead. Lore WILL be respected since crossbows just disapeared from the game in TES4 Oblivion but they should always have been there. If you played TES3 Morrowind you'd know what I mean. Crossbows where common since then. AND Since the dark elves and the nords have a long history of warring each other I really dont know why betesda did NOT include crossbow in skyrim EXEPT for making more money selling you their DLC's...
If I have to be honest I think It's fine as it is, it takes at least weeks to months until someone can pull back the string and shoot perfectly with a bow. The crossbow would be a better option due to it being very easy to use plus bolts have alot more impact then a arrow would, I think it is ok where it's at (50%) as most soldiers wouldn't get the time to practise using the bow (However I think it's more lore friendly if only bandits and the empire are using the crossbows due to the Stormcloaks trying to protect their beliefs and they are alot more tribe.
P.S Spencer it's kind of you to upload these onto Nexus due to the creator having no interest in updating plus uploading, If you want to change the percentages then go ahead but I think it's perfect where it is.
Most likley test it and tell me. I dont really use faction crossbows and my esp/plugin files are maxed on my game. you sound like you have faction crossbows I do not suppose you mind testing to see if there compatible or not.
i'm using convenient crossbow mod, which quite likes your mod But Immersive Creatures adds some draugr using imperial/stormcloak weapon, so when I use IC and convenient crossbow together, they always confilct, some draugrs just hold their cossbow and do nothing but shaking, I guess draugr skeleton do not allow they attack with crossbow. i wonder if this confilct appears when using your mod and immersive creatures together
This only affects the bandits, imperial and stormcloaks they all have the built in animations. I see them using crossbows with npo crossbows and faction crossbows so no you'll net see that in this.
