I like this mod but I have to admit it's kind of annoying she lives in a bandit infested area rather than a safe zone, and you can't reassign her home. If I could have her live somewhere else this would be many times better. Still, I'm endorsing this cause I adore her.
I love this mod! I also agree with the comment that says you should replace the barking with spider noises. I think it will be very fitting.
I love the idea of this mod, but there is the issue of Nixy making dog barks. If I may make a suggestion, create a separate file that replaces those sounds with something more fitting to a nix-hound, like chaurus or spider noises. I would download that in a heartbeat.
So for whatever reason this also changes the appearance of vigilance anyway. I am using the mod that makes him a durzog, anyway to fix this so I can have a durzog and a nix-hound?
I have a small problem with this, some how...and I still don't know why, I was trying to clear of up some quests and grabbed NIxy along the way, but for some reason he suddenly vanished on me when I attempted to go to a dragon fight (scripted event, the one where you find Aludin (I love spelling) reviving another dragon, but also notices you and speaks.) It's not like he got killed by the dragon (It could have easily been apocalypse shout (from Thunder Child)), so he might have been hit, but I never found his body or for that matter anything else. I assumed he died at some point, but its hard to know when you can't find a green dog sized body rolling around. He should be essential, right? if not then I feel like a total monster for killing him right after getting him.
It's certainly possible that Nixy wasn't essential and indeed got killed, and if that was the case you can use the console to spawn another one. Before that though I would suggest waiting a few hours or fast travelling to see if she shows up, just in case.
