My man, if this mod were a book, it'd be an absolute page-turner! I couldn't wait to finish my supper so I could play some more! I now find myself (read: character) sitting on a chair waiting for something to happen. Two questions here: a) Was the body I found one of the servants his Lordship sent and b) Without giving anything away, for what am I waiting and how long do I have to wait?

hi all skyrim player the first sry for my bad english i have find a way to close the quest hrothgars´way when you save vagnur from the cage you must follow him slowly step by step when you come on the ladder where you comes out to ivarstead he comes out and running to the inn then you must speak with him and the quest is finish hope i could help good luck
I managed to complete the quest by entering the inn before Vagnur and then talking to him as soon as he enters the inn. I tried other ways (including having guards fighting him although at the second attempt he died and the quest failed :-) ), but he was going out the inn after entering it and then back to Hrothgar's way and I could not talk to him. I join other reviewers and found the mod very nice. I hope you can continue it. Keep us posted.
The problem I have is I follow him out and he stands outside the trapdoor and never goes to the inn. <sigh> Well at least I know that I actually completed it.
I was just getting into this mod, I enjoy it so far, but there is a problem after I kill the giant spider. I head further down and I see a body. I approach said body and don't even have to interact with it, just being near it causes the game to crash. I've had the game crash before on rare occasion but I reload my save and continue on. This crash happens every time I approach this first body. I'd love to endorse this mod but if I can't make it through I'll have to uninstall.
UPDATE: So I'm still not sure what happened but I was able to bypass the glitch by casting Loot Magnet on the corpse while running at it. This finally allowed me to change the mission to having found the body and returning to the quest giver.
This reminds me of a Rolls Royce without a muffler.Excellent layout, planning, attention to detail, polish and great quest markers to help the player move around.
BUT….
Frustration for the player has always been:
(1) Every time I turn around I find a LOCKED door in my face – so I waste time (not fun time) running around looking for the d##n keys. I can fully appreciate keys used to SEQUENCE events – but many are unnecessary and “key finding quests” are not on everyone’s FUN list of things to do.Usually they are nearby or in the next room.Some new dungeons have keys a mile away and multiple levers separated by a half mile to open the same gate.This is not challenging or creativity – it is frustration.
(2) MAZE.Most players want to play – not feel like a rat in a maze to spend all afternoon navigating a multi-level superimposed [meaningless] map.Until Bethesda provides a 3D map that is rotatable & viewed from any angle (like Deadspace), then the map (for multi levels) is useless as the player can’t tell whether they are above, in the middle or below.
So in my humble opinion -- a reason for low endorsements.
When I finally met up with Vagner in Ivarstead, he said nothing, did nothing, the mission was not marked complete so I uninstalled.
I have had this mod installed for some time now, and I get no related message from the Courier (who has delivered other letters): is there any way to jump start this quest, as with a console command?

OK, i have proceed to a point which i need to meet vignar at Irverstead, quest marker pointed me to a trapdoor in that town but no one was there. any help?
You somehow edit the spider's size from vanilla game, now i counter either huge frost spider or super mini frost spider in vanilla dungeon.
You somehow edit skill book from vanilla game, reading some vanilla game skill book doesn't gain me skill increase.
The lighting effect seems not working properly in some location particularly the first area (the mine with a boss level spider), when I walked around with a candlelight spell on, and with 3rd person view, many ground just turn entirely black.
First time when i played this mod, i fail to stop lord angeir, and so he got artifact and disappeared, made me trapped in the temple, because i dont have key to leave that area.
The quest marker does keep pointing towards the trapdoor indeed, head over to the Inn in ivarstead, and there he will be, he will fix the quest marker he said.
I had the lighting problem aswell in some area's, i made screenshots of it and forwarded them to him.
I haven't noticed a problem with the spiders, as he renamed his spiders, so my guess is they are a different cell, might be a bug on your end?, or it is indeed a bug, wich i haven't noticed yet, i did quite some testing on this mod so far ^^
for the abnormal sized sprier, i do think its something related to this mod.I explored two other vanilla location before/after just for testing (Harmugstahl and Geirmund's Hall),found super mini spiders in both of them.
I'm hoping to release a fix for the spider size and the quest marker shortly. Thanks for persevering to the end.
I'm still looking for voice overs for both actors please if anyone is interested? I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the fact Aegis voice changes considerably half way through the quest :-).
If you dont stop Aegnor in time, you should be able to jump up and crawl back up the grate with water cascading down into the temple (the other one, not the one you came into the temple through) but only if you have previously cleared the grate of sand from above. I'll check this still works as advertised.
Having the same problem as heisfool - I'm in Ivarstead looking for Vignar and getting the quest marker on the trapdoor nearby. First time I saw Vignar - couldn't get a correct dialogue to come up. Now he's just not there - not in the Inn either.
Looks like this is an ongoing bug, as many folks have mentioned it below. Are you working on a fix? Would love to finish the quest.
I do like the mod, though it feels a bit de-populated so far and the lighting is somewhat problematic. Still, looking forward to continuing. And giving more feedback once I've finished the whole shebang.

Edit: Found Vugnar - seems I had to use the proper exit where he was waiting with my Follower, the exit at Ivarstead, to cue the proper dialogue sequence - he ran to the Inn, then I was able to complete the dialogue inside.
This is really great! I don't know if it is the ELFX, or other darkening mods that did it, or the fact that I have my monitor on 82%, but it was so dark that it was chilling me out! Luckily, I am an 11th level mage, and had a spell to lighten the way some. This has got to be the best dungeon mod I have ever played. I did not finish it yet, but after about an hour exploring, I had to come back and type this report. And I fell off several times, some of the times which I died. Other times, I was fortunate to land in water. The way out of the water was so cool! This is the real deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you won't get the letter, but should get an objective marker to meet Lord Aegnor in Riverwood.
