My first impression watching HTTYD 2 is that Hic was wearing a mix between shrouded armor and draugr helmet (without horns), for the colors (dark green and brown leather). This has very good meshes but unmatching textures, I'll test it with my setting and try to make a re-texture, with your permission.
If you can make a retexture by all means, please do. I haven't had any time to devote to my Skyrim mods at all I thought my model was pretty good, but I knew my textures needed a complete overhaul. I knew I would catch flak for it but I also wanted to get it out there for those you've been wanting this armor.
New to Skyrim. One of the first things I looked for was mods for HTTYD, and found zero. I was shocked that no one else had built interest in it, so much could be done. Now, I finally found two (of your) mods, and pretty glad. Thanks for being the first to explore this track. I really want to download this, but the high contrast in colours is putting me off. It's not just my taste, cause I am watching the movie right now, and the colours are too different from the original, especially the pants. Maybe you used a reference that I haven't yet come across, I don't know.
Nonetheless, great work and there is definitely a lot of potential in this.
The colors were saturated due to the enb I was using at the time which made EVERYTHING super saturated. I due wish someone could make better textures for these models as I just don't have the time right now.
Yeah I'm still learning. This is the first model I've made trying to use the Unwrap UV modifier. It's also a heavy retool of the Dawnguard armor. I still have a lot to learn with the 3DS Max, so every new project I do is a new learning experience and presents its own challenges. So please be patient with my work, it can only get better.
