It can't be, this mod doesn't do anything but replace a faulty .nif file, it shouldn't affect any camera in the game since its not a .esp file.
I just went in game to test it, and I can freely look around while sitting in the bench, either in first person mode or in third person mode. The loss of your mouse-look ability must be caused by something else.
Still, I'd like to know more details about what happens to your mouse-look.
i've been loosing mouse look seemingly randomly, way before i installed this bench fix. i'm pretty sure it is at least contributed to by Enhanced Camera, and/or one of the "needs" mods that adds animations for simple things like taking things off shelves, harvesting a plant ect. those mods are ZF Primary Needs, Bathing in Skyrim, and EatingSleepingDrinking - KuNeruNomu (<---incredible mod there by the way).
the no mouse look (or in my case controller) seems completely random, and i can get up, and sit again, and it's good
Thanks for the reply, Kanaru. I didn't see why this mod should affect the camera, but as soon as I installed it, I lost mouse-look. When I disabled it, I got mouse-look back. This was not while I was anywhere near a Dwemer bench, I was just out in the wild.
I didn't do any further investigation, as I can live with the benches as they are. But I may try it again and see if I get the same results.
I don't have any mods that affect my camera.
Edit: Actually, I've been using Face to Face. I'll have to check it out, maybe there's a conflict there.
nice thank you! crazy coincidence, i just installed LeanWolf's Aemer Refuge today! phenomenal mod. now we can all sit in the hot tub. if only there was a "get nekkid" trigger in the tub , like Northern Bathhouses has, it'd be perfect! *hint*

Finally people can sit cosy together in my hot-tub!
Maybe bring this to the attention of the Unofficial patch team?
Also, believe it or not, I noticed this due to a hot-tub as well, hehe.
I do believe it.
There's a link to the forum on the Unofficial patch's page.
Just join up and tell them there.
Thanks!
