The mod looks great. How about a Hearthfire version with a plantable garden?

Sounds like a really cool idea, actually. I think I'll look into that for a next-weekend project. It will give me a good reason to release a new version with all of the tiny bug fixes I've been doing since V1.2 . I'll do a little bit of research on the hearthfire garden system and see if it's as easy to implement as I'd hope it to be.

Great first mod, not huge full of junk, nice and simple the way it should be and in a nice area, my new first home for my ranger character.

Keep up the good work, look forward to future mods

My first ever mod has been spotlighted by a renowned YouTuber, I can't thank you enough! It means so much to me to see the community using and enjoying my mod. The video will be on the main post by tomorrow. I've got a feeling this will really boost the page's popularity, so I owe you. Thanks!

Nice house. I like the cute little quest as well. Endorsed! Only this this needs is one weapon wall rack.

Edit: The bed only gives (both of them) a rested bonus. They should give Well Rested if I now own the house.

I can't find the letter on the left side on the porch of the house. :/

The letter can be found on the porch right in front of the hide doormat, but be careful. As with any non-static items in Skyrim, you and your followers and/or summoned creatures can accidentally walk over the letter, thus kicking it across the floor and into the forest. I've knocked it away multiple times while creating and testing the mod, so just double-check to be sure it isn't somewhere around the house or under the porch. Worst casonario, you can load a save before you've found the house, or just simple go to the cave down the path and get the key without reading the letter on the porch. The letter is there for immersive reasons, it does not actually add a quest or do any other function than informing the player of who owns the house and where to find him. You can always go find him and get the key without finding and reading the letter.

I am a house addict and this house is in a unique area and the screenshots look great. I will definitely try it out with maybe my ranger character when she doesn't want to be camping. BTW, what enb are you using for the screenshots? They look so colorful and intense?

Nice to hear that you're interested I'll add a section to the description with links to my major graphical mods tonight, but for now, I can tell you I'm using RealVision ENB and RLO (Realistic Lighting Overhaul)

I've been searching for 15 minutes now, but I cannot find the Cabin. It is too secluded! ;-D There are two roads from Ivarstead, the NW path leads up to High Rhotgar [sp] and the NE path (not crossing the bridge) leadse down a winding slope. I also don't see a house icon. I am new to Skyrim, so I don't know all the roads yet. Could help me a better way to find directions?

I am excited about this mod because it is secluded, and a normal hunters cabin and for once not around Whiterun/Riverwood area!

It was my goal to put it off the grid, so I do understand that finding the cabin may be difficult. I'm at school now, but I'll add a photo of the map with the settlement on it here later so you can refer to it. As for the path, it does not lead directly to Ivarstead, so you'l have to do some offroading to get there. It's more N then W, and it's on the side of the High Hrothgar mountain, so just keep looking for now. I can help you more later today.

Look SSE of Hillgrund's Tomb on the map .. or due west of Fort Amol, Shivala.Ivarstead is quite a ways away.

Btw - a really terrific first effort, TF.
I REALLY like the location and how you made the cabin fit naturally into its surroundings - excellent job on the exterior. (fyi - you do have one floating tree by the garden still - and consider repositioning your porch torches ... looks like they'd set the place on fire. Your interior does fill all one's needs and does so without getting in the way. Look forward to other projects of yours. Endorsed.

Floating tree by the garden, you say? I'll be sure to look into that for my next patch, but after releasing two hotfixes in the first night of release, I feel it would be unnecessary and annoying to get everyone to update to a new version just to solve a small floating tree issue. There are other very small issues like such that I've noticed personally and am planning to include when I do decide to make another patch, but I want to wait until I hear of enough bugs to necessitate yet another hotfix update.

Also, your compliments are very much appreciated! I'm glad you enjoyed my mod, being only the first project I've taken up after getting the creation kit last weekend, I didn't expect it to be so positively acclaimed. However, I'm certainly not complaining xD Thanks for the endorsement, and enjoy the mod!

Yeah! Found it. It was indeed more west of Fort Amol. Thanks for that tip Gary62.

Love the new abode! Really secluded, simple but beautiful spot! Thanks, I am sure this will be a nice retreat between quests!
