Hello! Lovely house (outside of a very harmonious and beautiful), but inside it not gentle. Please add a room for children and a room for trophies, as well as NPC
My new happy place...the first house mod that actually made me *want* to live in Solitude. (I've also retextured most of the city; that helps a lot too.) I think this will make my all-time favorite house mod list.
there is a picture on the description page that shows where exactly it is...and I will think about a non music version but you can try to change it in the creation kit by yourself if you know how its easy.
I think you should be able to just pop the music file out of the mod when you install and be good to go (I don't use a mod manager; don't know if that would complicate things. It does have very nice music, though...)
I really like the location and look of this mod, but for the size and grandeur of the house and grounds, the home interior is really quite small and lacking in amenities. I'd expect a home with a yard that takes up such a big chunk of the city to have full crafting facilities, a kitchen (or at least a kitchen corner - there's not even a cookpot), an extra bedroom for a steward/follower/servant, and maybe a separate library/study. There's also really not much in the way of display options. I do like small homes, but this place feels a lot smaller than it should be.
Maybe as an optional esp or at least keep the old one up for download? I am probably one of those who find compact houses appealing. And I am probably in the minority here by saying that I find basements or baths in every house mod out there a bit overused. while crafting stations are nice, I usually have access to them in other places any way. (And other mods.)
Re. Ultimuh: Yeah, maybe stuff like that is overused in house mods. Well, I can perfectly well live without 'em...but I think they'd fit in very nicely here. I even found myself wishing that little stone pond outside was a little deeper...
Try with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60728/? You can carefully delete the banners (using the console) and add the ones you like with this mod instead. good luck
I couldn't delete the banners with the console (that's my only beef with the mod...they're generic and ratty...don't fit well with this lovely place.) But I can live with 'em. Maybe one day I'll get brave and go after 'em in CK...
I think this place is TOTALLY AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL" and i love it but could I request you add on a basement for blacksmithing? Complete with all the equipment used for making stuff, a forge, a wood chopping block that let you chop wood , tanning rack, grindstone, workbench and several storage boxes and safes ... Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I would gladly pay that guy Newin Sharprock for it to be added on. Also, please keep the alchemy and enchanting table for those who want to use them.
