nice mod! BTW, this actually would make sense in a real-life type of way, because malachite (what the "glass" items are made with) is a copper carbonate hydroxide mineral. however, copper would not make for a good armor IRL due to how malleable it is. (it's possible to bend pure copper the same way you can with gold, IE biting it)
No, you're not! You're the only one so far, but as this won't take long, I'll do it anyway . Edit: There you go! I've added 3 new optional files. Please let me know if you can download them. NMM gives me an error, but adding them from file is not a problem. I have no idea why, but hope it works for you!
That doesn't sound too hard to do. This only took me a couple hours and most of the time was spent on getting used to the whole process, as this is my first mod. I do intend to redo the textures in HD (when I finally finish the download) and I could just make one version with copper only. Dunno how all the glass ornaments will look then, but we'll see.
Hey, just wanted to let you know that I tried your suggestion. Copper is my favorite metal, but it just didn't look right on this armor. At the risk of appearing repetitive, I'm considering making copper elven armor. Would that tickle your fancy?
I dont know if you guys will be notified when I post this, but: I have been meaning to update this mod with the HD textures and try out your suggestions. Unfortunately, I lost track of it for... a while :S. So yea, I want to make up for that in the near future .
very nice armor! great work! for my taste the copper could be a little more "shiny" and the glass maybe a bit darker with an intense color =) i hope u read my suggestion and maybe try it out =)
I see what you mean. It really bothered me how "unshiny" the helmet was and maybe the rest of the armor could use some more specularity as well (as long as the copper-ish look doesn't suffer from it). I'll just have to check on that.
Haha, I know exactly what you mean by "intense". In the inventory it looks like my favorite kind of green; very strong and saturated. It doesn't carry over to the rest of the game most of the time, though, which is kinda sad. I want to see if I can make it more intense outside of the inventory renderer in the future. Hopefully darkening the green a little bit does the trick because it's as saturated as it can get in Photoshop : /. So yea, I'll gladly give your suggestions a shot when I redo the textures in HD (my internet is still struggling to download the pack, unfortunately).
