If your having issues with the roads being over lighted you need the patch for immersive roads. it combined in TRHD and cm32 forgot to patch it. also download Audio Overhual 2. I forgot to add it

IMPORTANT: Please remember I am Only able to test vram limits and setting stability NOT FPS! In other words just because you have 2g gddr5 dosnt mean you will get over 35 fps in all areas if your gpu its self is low quality and cant handle the base ENB of this guide!

I have stepped away from moding for a long time. I joined the military and have sense been trying to start my own business. Id like to thank you for your support over the years and ill keep the guide up for referrals to mods but most the install orders have changed. some day when I have time or maybe if I had a partner to type I would like to update and carry on my work for SSE. A little over a year I followed this guide (I think it was a lot different back then) and I got about 50 fps on my GTX 970 with a 3rd gen i5 and 16GB DDR3. Today, with the same setup, I get 41 fps and the graphics are far less impressive. I have, however only got throught the steps that have me configure my ENB.
I am running on a fresh reformat.
Do you think you could help me out so I can get my fps a little better and the graphics a bit prettier perhaps?
I'm obviously not the guide author, but there are generally waaaaay too many variables at play on the average gaming computer to troubleshoot remotely. Your best bet is probably to keep checking various factors. Even if your hardware and game setup are the same, your system won't stay identical over time, though most changes (OS updates, dust, etc.) shouldn't have much of an impact, some may. The real issue is limitation.. Sadly the original is cut short by the vram issues and cell loading can become a big problem as well. I pushed the bounds as best i could and my goal was to stay above 35 fps so your well above that mark. to me anything past that is def playable. the main place to test fps is whiterun. though. if your good there with jks skyrim your good all over for the most part. fps wise.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU - this guide clearly took a LOT of time and effort and it's absolutely wonderful! I wish so much that I had found it sooner!
Nevermind, I've my high end config with I7 + GTX 1080 now it should be fine.
[EDIT] I think the software for the Vram test is outdated by the way. It detect only 4096 VRam on my GTX 1080, but there is no config of 1070 / 1080 with only 4GB Vram. 8GB is the minimum.

This is a great tutorial. However, I wish you can clean up the directions. In many steps, it was simply too hard to follow as I didn't understand what you meant.
"(A,B) Download Scoped Bows Legendary main file and optional refraction. click install on the main file. Click install on the refraction optional, no when promt.
(A,B) Download Transparent and refracting Glass Eqmnt main file and scoped bows file if you got it. Click install, select the top 2 boxes and click finish, then yes to all. Click install on the scope file, pick a option and hit finish, then yes to all.
(A,B) Download Refracting Stalhrim main file. Click install, select options 1, 2, and 3 if you have scoped bows, hit next. Select option 1, click next, finish, then yes to all."
Or when I'm installing, the moder must have changed the options, so they don't follow as clearly as your guide. Like you might say, click option x, click next x amount of times and check option y. For some mods, this order must have changed since they were last updated.
But I scratched my head a few times, and my game is working fine. Thank you for the guide.
Ok ill be sure to change the install info once I have the free time. Your right they have been updated and some of the install info is out dated. left hand rings is new as well.. I'm glad you liked it! feel free to post screen shots.
ill be doing more updates to this for b options with a few more complicated installs to improve the look. The a options are mainly for starters and people with really low vram and I think I nailed that limit and it wont be changing. These changes will start after the my new mods are posted for npc's
OMG! you really cant get wyrmstooth /cry. I still got it. they will all be optional in the update anyways. I'm aiming for quite a few personal goals this time though. an ABC style istall order were a is for 1gddr cards and b is for 2 to 3 gddr and c is for the rest. Also removing some uneeded mods like safety load. hmmm if you got any mod I should like at be sure to let me know o/
Very nice . This will actually be my first modded skyrim playthrough so I was looking for something like this guide. Played skyrim on xbox 360 like 4 years ago and the LE has been sitting in my steam library for a long time now. Currently running an i5 3570k OC @ 4.2gz, gtx 970 and 16gb of ram. Going all out for this
just let me know a way to send it to you and id be glad to share. I don't know if Uploading it is ok sense I cant remember if he had open permissions on the mod.. Its a constant issue on the nexus. to me as long as there is a link "if you can make one that is" and credit it should be ok.. but one wrong move and I get banned. I would hate to loose my work for trying to help people one of the first post here was "did you get permission to add the fix files from cabal?" lol and you cant even use those without the rest of his mod.. they are just mesh fixes for his texture pack that he didn't make nmm install. so I could imagen the flack id get for a whole mod as well know as wyrmstooth.
If you have a 970 i wouldn't run this set up this isn't really that good. Run it for a bit then do some researc. This guide is awesome for people who are new to the game. However with a 970 you can do a lot better
Do better? It retexturs at least 90% of the game and added world spaces.. The b options are ment for high end cards.. so yeah this is a great set up for any card not just low end rigs. Also its ment to work with my other guide for NPC's.. I run a r 290x my self and I'm not found wanting even with the a options.. everything here has a 1k to 4k option so really its just that you don't like the look.. not that "there are better options". My options don't fit your taste is all..
Hi! Nice guide, good looking mods pack, stable with 35+ fps in exteriors on a friend gaming laptop. This look also look good during the night, when raining or snowing, unlike the real vision.
Is climate of tamriel better than Vivid Weather? Did you tried with WAO? I think WAO + vividian enb could be pretty good.
I removed "Stable uGridsToLoad" and "Safety Load". I had to a start a new game because of corrupted save but now with 25 hours of gaming, I experienced 0 crash. Not sure they are usefull with the SKSE update, but can cause more crashs.
birds and flocks has to be cleaned, ill test my game without it next update I do. Ill test no safety and ugrids as well. as for the weather vivid is the best atm.
I know this is long past due but safety load is no longer needed and in fact the skse ini download dosnt cover every pc. the ini edits to skse need to be set the match your max workload in most cases a very wooded area near a town like felkrearth. some also sugjest the docks of windhelm. the one I have listed for download is really the least amount to mod with. for anyone this has effected "me included" I'm sorry. there is miss information all over and it took.. dayssss... of testing to make sure this was the case. just another ini ill have to make but its best you all fine tune the skse.ini your self.

Do you have any advices with a 2144Mo Vram Test? :/
My Gcard have 4096 dedicated ram, but when I run the Vramtest it show only 2144...
I run with only 19 - 25 fps with all steps now...
What steps can I follow or skip?
