    One of those Dawnguard soldier attacking castle Volkihar is essetnials - he doesn't want to die.
    I choosed vampire side.

    I really enjoyed this mod over the last few weeks. I am less interested in part two, and downloaded part one since Dayspring Canyon seemed too barren when it was vanilla. I'll continue to use this mod, but the camp seems too dense. All the NPC's are just sitting too close to one another for my taste, while the remaining canyon is empty, even the front gates have fewer soldiers. I think this mod could be the right one to fix that issue, especially when other overhauls don't seem to fix the exterior of Ft. Dawnguard.

    Part 2 is now out. Respawning dawnguard and vampire soldiers at the entrance to castle volkhiar. Wouldent it be nice if dawnguard didnt just attack once but every once in a while? Well thats what More Dawnguard part 2 is. Works for both dawnguard and vampire sided players (: but i prefer dawnguard.

    Im sorry my mistake I uploaded wrong mod so there is no vampires. For some people that is a good thing i guess sorry to disapoint. But yes Arniel and Grune are not there so download as you please.

    ok I'm still on the fence with this mod. I think I'm just gonna track for now and see if you do end up fixing the bugs. I've been burned with dead mods before. Also a pic or two of the camp would be nice. By the way while I do see fraquar's point I think there is another way to spin it. While the initial infection can be easily cured at any shrine full blown vampirism is not as easy to get rid of. Vanilla Skyrim offers only two cures. The first being lycanthropy and the second being from the mage Falion in Morthal. I for one don't think it's outside the realm of "lore" possibility that at lest a couple of people may have survived an attack but where unfortunately unable to make it to a shrine in time. These people may not want to replace one curse with another and Falion's cure is not widely known. They may however choose to use their new powers to get revenge on the creatures that cursed them. I agree that Isran would not welcome them with open arms but if they proved themselves I do think he would see their value as a resource. Perhaps this is why they are at a camp away from the main castle. Lets not forget that Isran has no idea who Serena is and has only just met the player the first time she goes to the castle. Yet for some reason instead of just killing her and taking the Elder Scroll he chooses to hear her out. On that note maybe add a trigger to cure the " Dawnguard Vampires " if the player as completed Falion's side quest "Rising At Dawn". I believe Serena already has this trigger in her dialogue so it should be possible. Any way use this or don't it's up to you. Thanks for sharing work with us.

    well i tried you mod and sorry its not for me when attacking vampires if you hit one of your soldiers or any one in your mod they attack you and the originaldawnguard attack your soldiers and they just keep fighting have to load a save to stop them nice idea though but i not going to keep loading a save because of fighting

      Okay will try to fix that and add them to the dawnguard faction but the dawnguard shouldent attack them anyways because I used guards dialogue and factions so this confuses me. But again you can change the mod as you please I will be updating this mod when I can.

    Dawnguard barely tolerates Serena, and likely only because she came with an Elder Scroll in tow and is older than dirt, and as the PC already knows she's a member of the oldest and most powerful vampire clan in Skyrim.It only makes sense in her case to "keep your friends close and your enemies closer".....

    Never mind the fact that the PC finds out shortly thereafter just how important to events she really is, being a Daughter of Coldharbor and all.

    The thought of two more random vampires being allowed to hang around the joint, well kinda destroys their credibility immensely doesn't it.I guess it goes down like this then?

    Random recruit: "Um, Isran - I thought the Dawnguard was about fighting vampires, not offering them food and shelter......"
    Isran: "silly fool, who do you think I really am?"

      Yeah you are right I thought the idea was good in my opinion because I was planning a mod with a co moder with me about a possible Dawnguard Expansion quest and having SPOILER Isran dying so the dawnguard has to change their ways. If somebody would like to join me in the creation of this future mod just text me. But you do have premission to change this mod as you please.

    Please inform me if this mod doesn't work, I had my fare share of troubles with Creation Kit. Otherwise, enjoy killing vampires
