It's a shame this idea hasn't taken off. It's such a great concept and something I hope Bethesda has in the next Elder Scrolls. Thank you for your work on this.
When you say book covers of skyrim has added support for RBA, do you mean they don't conflict anymore in the latest version, because I don't see a patch anywhere on the BCS page?
The BCS patch for RBA is at.... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50441/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D50441&pUp=1
it is one of several patches for Book Covers of Skyrim that is included in the file --> "BCS Compatibility Patch Collection - 3_6 Legendary"
I'm having problems getting "Read Books Aloud" to work properly. Hoping for some help - though I entirely understand it isn't the fault of this group of voice packs.
* "ReadBooksAloud.esm" is last master file loaded * "ReadBooksAloud - Skyrim + 3 DLC's.esp" is loaded next to last in load order * "BCS - RBA Patch.esp" is loaded last in load order (this is a patch for Book Covers of Skyrim and Read Books Aloud) * Mod Organizer shows that "ReadBooksAloud - Skyrim + 3 DLC's.bsa" has been properly installed in "Data" folder.
The "Read Books Aloud" MCM menu shows up, but I hear no sound when opening a book (or pressing the hotkey to 'play' the book). Have now tried six different books found throughout Markarth in my new game. I have tried to get RBA to work with this particular mod's three voice packs enabled and disabled. This is a fresh install of Skyrim and SKSE, etc.
Any ideas of where I went wrong? Thanks in advance.
It is a criminal shame that 1) This has as few endorsements as it does and 2) That work on adding more books (from the community in general I mean) has been so lacklustre
at least the text-to-speech used in the default Read Books Aloud is decent quality, but when there could be so much more it is a shame. Gopher alone read a ton of books and has them all archived on his youtube page.
Here's to hoping there is a resurgence now with Skyrim SE
If anyone knows of more compliations like this that can be used with Read Books Aloud then please let me know
Edit: I apologize. Too many closely named browser tabs open. This was meant for Book Covers Skyrim, and has been posted there.
Its ok, you can laugh at me.

BCS - RBA Patch.esp is asking me to order my plugins as follows: Skyrim.esm Dawnguard.esm Hearthfires.esm Dragonborn.esm ReadBooksAloud.esm ReadBooksAloud - Skyrim + 3 DLC's.esp
Meanwhile ReadBooksAloud - Skyrim +3 DLC's.esp is requesting the following: Skyrim.esm ReadBooksAloud.esm Dawnguard.esm Hearthfires.esm Dragonborn.esm
This seems somewhat important, considering we're dealing with the core game plugins.

Where would one have easier access to all the text for all the books in case one wants to start recording.... I wonder.
