There is an easier way to do this. Use the NPC Editor by Foretrenty. First tab there is a default clothes with a menu listing all available in the game including Nocturnals set. Then if someone isnt happy with the choices they can get the editor and change them rather than FOMM.
removed the file from download, the time for me to figure out this "removal issue". Removal instructions have been added in the description. Just tested multiple times and its ok as long as you are not in the same area as the modded npc in your last save game before removing the esp file.

I have found using the creation kit is the best way to get any outfits, custom or not on to any NPC in game.
(look closely at the bottom)

Cuse some ppl said editing with NPC Editior and using those mods can mess up with your save's :/
